Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 930

Theodore grabbed Aurora's hand and pried her fingers away. "Go back and get some rest. Go to sleep and for all you know, I'll be back tomorrow morning."

He hoped he'd be back first thing tomorrow morning.

Not because he wanted to come back to Aurora, but because he wanted to find Rosalie as soon as possible.

Theodore turned around and held Aurora's shoulders.

Aurora's tear-streaked face and look of misery made Theodore say helplessly, "Aurora, don't invest too much emotions on me. I can't give you much."

He admitted that he was wrong. He had made it clear right from the start, but this woman was undaunted in sacrificing everything for him with no hesitation whatsoever.

He was moved by it and accepted her being Rosalie's replacement, using her to relive those happy moments during his marriage with Rosalie. Yet, he still couldn't wipe Rosalie away from his memories. He was still living in the past, unable to extricate himself from it.

He wiped the tears from Aurora's face with guilt on his face and then kissed her forehead lightly. "Rest early."

With that, he turned to leave.

"Theo, Theo!" Aurora ran after him, sobbing hard.

But no matter how loudly she cried out for him, Theodore never turned back. He even quickened his pace so that she couldn't catch up with him.

At the stairwell, she saw him open the door and leave with no hesitation at all.

"Theo! Don't go, I'm begging you!"

Aurora collapsed on the floor with a thud.

"Theo, how could you do this to me? How could you?! I've given you everything, I've given you my all, how could you be like this?!"

Aurora sat crying on the floor for a long time.

She then walked despondently back to her room, pulled out her phone, and called her cousin.

She didn't know who else to call and her cousin seemed to be her only option.

Each time something happened to her, she would cry to her cousin.

Very soon, the call connected and she spoke to her cousin for a very long time.

She vented all her frustrations and even told her about Rosalie.

Her cousin hated Rosalie and kept insulting her with all sorts of filthy words, as if Rosalie was truly a whore. Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

Aurora did not utter a single insult about Rosalie and simply listened to her cousin rebuke Rosalie.

She could hear someone else scolding Rosalie without sullying her lips. Her cousin took on the filth for her.

Aurora finally felt better. At least there was someone who hated Aurora as much as she did.

They chatted until midnight.

Toward the end, Aurora felt slightly tired.

Her cousin was chatty alright, and her mouth was filled with filth. However, her never-ending insults aimed at Rosalie did make Aurora feel much better.

After ending the call, Aurora put her phone aside.

"Rosalie Young, why are you still trying to steal Theo away from me? You already have Sebastian, why do all the men love you? Why should they? Why are you still snatching him from me?"

Aurora grabbed a pillow.

"You're just shameless! You're upset seeing Theodore with another woman, aren't you? You're so wicked, never let you have your way! Theo is an amazing man. can't let a wicked woman like you have him!"

Aurora took a deep breath.

Don't be anxious, she told herself.

'Do not be anxious. Don't let Theodore hate you. You have to be benevolent,' Aurora reminded herself.

Men loved generous women. The more generous she was, the more his heart would ache for her. He wouldn't like her if she were vitriolic.

In the silent night, moonlight shone through the branches, tracing the silhouette of the villa and giving off a feeble glow.

An imposing aura filled the room

and time felt as though it froze in

there. Dim light shone against the wall, accentuating the dark shadows and bringing an inexplicable sense of doom.
