Chapter 26 Go Riding with Him
Tina was annoyed about Caitlyn's appearance and vaguely felt she was not simple. After she finally
sent her away and returned to the office, her colleagues surrounded her and hypocritically asked about
the incident in the morning. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
Tina felt tired and was in no mood to deal with them. So, she briefly ended the conversation and
returned to her seat to think about the next step. She intended to use the members of the golf course to
pave the way for herself.
When she was deep in thought, her phone suddenly vibrated, and it was an anonymous text message.
She had thought it was spam. But after clicking on it, she found something was wrong because it was a
photo of her apartment's door. And the message said, "Baby, I'm waiting for you to invite me in."
This familiar tone made her tense up and immediately think of Louis. The feeling of being stared at by a
giant python made her hair stand on end. So, she felt so cold all over her body that she froze for a long
time.
When she came back to her senses, she found that her legs were shaking. She took a deep breath to
calm down. And then, her mind worked frantically.
Louis probably could do nothing physically to her for now. Otherwise, he would have let people kidnap
her instead of sending a photo to scare her.
"What are you thinking? Why don't you go to have lunch?"
Coco suddenly walked over and lightly patted her on the shoulder.
Tina regained her composure and said flatly, "Nothing. I'm just thinking about what to eat."
"I thought you were thinking about how to spend the sales commission," Coco said half-jokingly, pulled
out a chair, sat down beside her, and said, "You caught a big fish."
Tina looked around and lowered her voice, asking, "Why do you say so?"
Coco handed her phone over, winked at her, and said, "Read it by yourself."
Tina glanced at her phone and found it was detailed information on Wikipedia about the middle-aged
man who had bought the car that day.
Coco sighed and said enviously, "Tony Johnson made his fortune by raising pigs. He is the most
powerful upstart in recent years. When the price of pork rose the year before last year, his company
went public. Now, he is worth at least twenty billion dollars."
Tina knew Walter was a young man from a rich family but had not expected his family to be so rich.
"If you make him your regular customer, you will make a lot of money in the future."
Coco took back her phone and walked away, swaying her hips.
Tina patted her face, shook the nonsense out of her mind, and then went to the lavatory to wash her
face. Her priority now was to figure out a way to kill Louis. So, she should not think about other things
now.
Raising her head, she saw a woman's face covered with water in the mirror and was shocked by the
fierceness in her eyes. She took a deep breath to calm down and believed she could overcome all the
difficulties. So many years had passed, and she was fearless now. After the positive self-talk, she felt a
lot better.
Not long after she returned to the office, two strangers came and asked to meet her. Then, they told her
they wanted to buy two cars.
Although they had respectively bought an ordinary car at the price of about two hundred thousand
dollars, all her colleagues felt extremely jealous of her pennies from heaven.
Tina was still in confusion after selling the cars. Ans she did not tumble to the truth that these two men
were Tony's employees until Walter sent her a text message. And she also realized they had bought
the cars from her to flatter Walter.
She felt uneasy about it, so she called Alice after getting off work.
"What are you afraid of? Accept it if he takes the initiative to give it to you. You could accept the
apartment from Samuel. Why can't you accept the orders from other men?" Alice said confidently.
Hearing this, Tina swallowed back the words on the tip of her tongue. What between her and Samuel
was an exchange of equal values, but she couldn't do it with other men. She had sold herself once. But
if she kept selling herself, she would become too cheap.
When returning home with a lot of worries, she looked around outside the door for fear that bad guys
would suddenly attack her. Even after entering the door, she still felt worried. And she was on alert
when taking a shower.
It was dark. Sitting on the sofa, she was surrounded by dead silence. So, the fear that she had hidden
during the day crawled out and spread rapidly, making her not even have the courage to close her
eyes. So, she hugged herself on the sofa until the middle of the night. When she finally felt sleepy, she
lay down.
After sleeping in the cold living room for one night, she woke up early the next morning. Looking in the
mirror, she saw severe dark circles under her eyes. So, she could only put on slightly heavier makeup.
Fortunately, rich people did not have the habit of getting up early, and Walter didn't call her until ten
o'clock in the morning.
After Tina answered the call in the office, her colleagues hypocritically flattered her again. She casually
smiled and walked out with her bag.
Unlike yesterday, she was wearing a simple but youthful denim jumpsuit today. When a breeze blew,
her black hair gently danced in the air, looking refreshing and clean.
Walter leaned against his car and narrowed his eyes to look at her walking over with his heart racing.
Yesterday, he had asked her out in a heat of the moment. But now, he believed he had done the right
thing because Tina would definitely outshine his friends' dates.
At the thought of this, he stretched out his arms toward her before she walked up to him.
