I’ve looked everywhere for Nora, but couldn’t find her. It was already getting late, and I was starting to get worried. I would’ve said to check her friends house, if I could find her there, but she has no many friends, and the few she has, is only Jasmine I know, I’ve already gone there, but she wasn’t there either. I was already losing my mind, as the thought of something bad happening to her, kept popping up on my head, and I just couldn’t help it, but get more scared. This was all my fault, I am such a dickhead, how could I do that to her.

Since she wasn’t at Jasmine’s place, and she doesn’t seem to know where my sister would be, I was already losing my mind, as I ruffled my hair crazily.

Reaching out for my phone, I put a call through to her, and as expected, she didn’t answer her phone. I’ve been calling her for hours now, but she never picked any of it.

“Pick up please… pick up.” I said frustratingly, as I held my phone to my ear, but it was still same result, she didn’t pick up. Different thoughts came parading on my mind. What if something have happened to her? What if she was kidnapped? What if…. fuck! I don’t even know what to think anymore. She should just pick up and talk to me.

My phone beeped, and checking it, I found out that it was credit alert of fifteen million dollars, I didn’t need anyone to tell me who sent it. That wasn’t my problem, I needed to find my sister. Letting out a sigh, I hopped in on my car, and drove out of Jasmine’s place, going to God knows where. I was still driving in the dark, when my phone came ringing, and I quickly reached for it, thinking it was from Nora, but I was disappointed, as I saw the caller ID to be from miss Becky. I hissed loudly, and dropped the phone on the seat next to me, before pressing the bluetooth, which was fixed in my ear.

“Yeah.” I said simply, not taking my eyes off the road, as I drove recklessly down the dark road.

“The money has been sent to your account, I couldn’t meet up with the shopping today, coz I was very busy in the office, we’ll do that first thing tomorrow morning, and the party will be 8pm. So I want you to work on your schedule.” Her voice came on.

“Ok!” I replied simply, as my mind kept wandering aimlessly away. If I can’t find Nora, what will happen? My parents left her under my care, how could I not protect her? I am supposed to give her all the love and care she deserves, but I failed her, I caused her harm, when I’m the one that supposed to be there for her. What do I do now?

“If you’re less busy, we can hang out tonight, and talk over dinner.” She said softly.

“I’ll be busy. I gotta go now, good night.” I said, and pressed the bluetooth, as the call disconnected, before I removed the bluetooth and dropped it on the seat next to me.

After driving for what seemed like forever, I finally stopped driving, as I parked at the side of the road, and let out a deep sigh. I didn’t know who to call again. The thought of calling Audrey hit my head, but I quickly shrugged it off, I mean, what could Nora be possibly be doing with him? After pondering over nothing for long, I finally resolved to call Alex, I know Nora isn’t with him, I just wanna let him know, so he can help me look for her.

Picking up my phone, I scrolled through the contact, and as soon as I saw Alex’s number, I hit the dial button, before fixing the bluetooth in my ear again. He picked up on the first ring.

“Yo man!” His voice came on.

“Alex, Nora is missing.” I said dejectedly, as a drop of tears came rolling down my cheeks.Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Are you kidding me now?” He asked unbelievably.

“Do I sound like I’m joking man? My sister is fucking missing, I’ve been looking for her for hours now, but can’t find her anywhere, I’ve gone to her friend’s house, but she isn’t there. I’m losing my mind Alex, if anything happens to Nora I’m gonna lose it.” I cried bitterly like a baby. What do you expect? She’s the only family I have, and losing her is the last thing I can bear. Ever since we lost our parents, we lived and grew up together, with no other family, just the two of us.

“Hey calm down man…”

“Don’t tell me to calm down! I am looking for my sister, Nora is missing, and you want me to calm down? Do you know what I’m going through right now?” I yelled angrily, as I hit my hand on the steering wheel, before resting my head on it, more tears came pouring down my eyes.

“Nora is here with us.” He broke the news to me.

I slowly raised my head, trying to process what he just said, Nora is with them? That’s not possible.

“What are you talking about Alex? Do I sound like I’m joking or something? Why are you making a joke out of this, huh?” I asked furiously.

“I am not joking with you man, Nora is here.” He said, with seriousness clear in his tone.

“Where are you? I’m coming to get her.” I asked, already turning on the car ignition.

“Calm down ma…”

“Where the fuck are you!” I cut him off angrily.

“Ok, at the restaurant downtown.” He said, and without waiting for his next word, I ended the call, and stepped on the accelerator, setting the car on motion, as I drove crazily, like a maniac. I’ve already lost my mind. After driving for a few minutes, I finally got to the restaurant, and stepped out, before rushing into the restaurant, but stopped in my track, as I was welcomed with the shocking scene of my life. A wave of anger surged through me, as I watched them, with my fists balled beside me. How dare he!…
