Chapter 9 He Had Gynophobia
Chapter 9 He Had Gynophobia
Becca told Janet everything about Albert and Laura. As for the story about her and Kelvin, she just said
she had slept here for being drunk.
"Shameless!" Janet was more angry than Becca when she heard the whole thing. "What an asshole!
You've been with each other for 5 years since you were 17. How can he cheat on you? Laura was the
result of your step-mother seducing your father! They drove your mom…"
Janet stopped speaking when she saw Becca's changed expression.
"I'm naive." Becca laughed at herself, "Like mother, like daughter. I should have expected that. As for
Albert, I overestimated his love for me." Becca and Albert knew each other at the age of 17 on a
painting exhibition at school, when both of the young couple knew little about love. What Albert claimed
about "falling in love with her at first sight" was all about appearance. He admitted that he loved her
because of her good looks from the very first. When he met Laura, who was more beautiful, he fell in
love with her unsurprisingly.
"So what are you going to do now?" Janet worried about her, "Don't tell me you're going to accept the
result."
"Of course I won't compromise." Becca said with certainty, "The Garcias are all living on the legacy of
my mom, including the house she left for me. I won't allow the adulterous couple to live in my mom's
house!"
Becca got more furious at the thought of it and even wanted to rush home to kick their asses.
"But…" Thinking of Kelly waiting for her outside, Becca arched her eyebrows at Janet, "Now I need
your help."
She wore a crafty look whispering in Janet's ear…

In the room on the top floor, there was a woman in a dress sipping her tea elegantly on the black
leather sofa. Her long curly hair causally draping around one shoulder. She looked attractively fair
against the sunshine that was cast on her skin through transparent roof and her gentle and loving eyes
made her look delicate without saying a word.
Kelvin went into the room after changing into black T-shirt and slacks. He had been used to wearing
comfortably since he was a soldier.
"Kelvin." The woman put the cup down and stood up at the sight of him, smiling softly.
Without giving her a look, Kelvin sat on the other sofa with his legs crossed, leaned against the back
and closed his eyes.
Although embarrassed, Mia Moore tried to be patient and walked close to him, "I just came back from
Europe, and my friend introduced me a great psychologist there. Would you like to take the time to visit
the doctor?"
Kelvin did not respond.
"The doctor said it's just psychological disorder. If you cooperate with the doctor, it can be cured…" she
could almost come over to him with only one step.
"Stop." Kelvin opened his eyes, and his tone was cold.
Mia's outstretched foot was taken back, and her smile froze in her face.
"Stay away from me." Kelvin looked serious.
As one of the heirs of her noble family, Mia had never been treated badly like today. But considering
the identity of Kelvin and his family, which many women dreamed to marry into, she forced herself to
endure his temper.
"Kelvin, your father has agreed to see the doctor. I know you don't care, but gynophobia has affected
your normal life. You are 28 years old and I am 26. Both of our parents are pushing for marriage."
"You are thinking too much." Kelvin sneered, "I'm not affected."
"Kelvin," Mia thought he didn't tell the truth, "Your father's health is getting worse. Don't you want to © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.
give him a grandson?"
"It's none of your business." Kelvin looked cold, "If you are so concerned, you can marry my father. It’s
easier for him to get a son."
"You!" Mia was too angry to speak.
Kelvin was about to call Bill to see Mia out when he saw Kelly's figure poking through the doorway into
the room. Kelvin frowned and strode to him.
"What's wrong?" Kelvin got a bad feeling from his pensive look.
Seeing Mia was there, Kelly lowered his voice.
"Mrs. Lewis … Mrs. Lewis ran away."
