CHAPTER FIFTY
After Raymond left Tina to finish up her cooking, he went to his room to take a shower as he pitied Tina, but somehow he knew that she was going to survive it in Gavriel’s house. She was a strong and determined young lady, and for the fact that she had gone through hardships on her first day and did not leave, she would be able to continue, but Gavriel had to stop this, or else she would turn her back on him or he might end up doing something that will make him rush her to the hospital or rather kill her in the process. The worst of it is that she might end up trying to kill herself.
He entered his room and took off his clothes as he entered the bathroom to have a quick shower to calm his nerves. He knew that he would never do that to a woman because it would surely hurt her, and in the end, where would he start to apologize?
As he put on the shower and the cold water poured on his head, suddenly the image of Nicole appeared in his head, and he sighed, wondering when he was going to see her again as he suddenly found himself missing her. Her warmth, God, was all he needed right now.
As she arranged the dishes on the dining table, she heard footsteps walking through the hallway, and she hastened up because she knew who had those footsteps, Mr. Gavriel.
“What is that?” Mr. Gavriel asked as he stood at the entrance of the dining room.
He wore casual clothes, but it was obvious he was going out, maybe with Raymond. “Good day, sir.” Tina flinched as she heard the question and turned around as she greeted him.
“There is nothing good about this day since you dared to walk past me and my best friend, so I do not think there is a need for your greeting… hold it to yourself,” Mr. Gavriel said as he walked closer to the dining table.
“I ask for the second time, what is this?” He added as he pointed at the dining table.
‘God, what is this now? Is he not seeing what is on the dining table, or he wants to hear my response to him? Now I certainly know that he wants trouble,’ Tina said to herself as she looked at Mr. Gavriel.
“Sir, I prepared lunch for you… you must be starving,” Tina said as she shivered with fear and her hands rubbed against each other.
“Did I ask you to prepare lunch for me? Why are you wasting my resources? Hmmm, why do you like doing what you were not asked to do? Are you dumb? answer me,” Mr. Gavriel roared furiously as he pushed a dining chair aside.
‘I knew it… this man was up for trouble. What would I do now?” How will I answer him? I am sure if I reply to his questions, he will use them against me. Tina thought to herself as she was interrupted by Mr. Gavriel.
“Are you suffering from hearing and speaking disabilities?” Mr. Gavriel asked again, and Tina nodded as a result of being tensed up.
“I can see you are dumb because you suddenly cannot talk anymore,” Mr. Gavriel said.
“I am sorry, sir, I should have asked, and this would be the last time it would happen. I would make sure to ask next time, and I promise it would not happen again,” Tina pleaded, ignoring all the questions he asked her.
“You are sorry after you have wasted the resources. I hate when I use my hard-earned cash to buy things that are wasted unnecessarily, but instead of you wasting it, I would rather do that myself,” Mr. Gavriel said as he used his hands to push down the plate where the fried eggs were, and they fell as the plates broke and scattered in every corner along with the eggs.
“Please, sir, do not waste them in that way… I can eat them since I have not had anything yet.” Tina knelt and pleaded as she saw how the dishes she prepared were scattered all over the place, and tears fell from her eyes.
People were out there and did not hear anything to eat, and here he was wasting such nice food.
“If you have not eaten, it would be so nice for you to eat them from the floor… is that not your lifestyle, a beggar?” Mr. Gavriel said as he was about to push down the next dish, which was the noodles.
Raymond was just through with his shower when he heard his stomach gurgling and remembered seeing Tina cooking. This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.
He quickly dried up the water on his body, put on fresh, clean clothes from his wardrobe, and rushed downstairs.
Then he heard plates breaking and being scattered, and he ran down to see what was going on as he hoped Tina was alright.
When he got to the kitchen, he did not see Tina there, so he went to the dining room, and what he saw shocked him as he stopped and stared in awe as he watched his best friend show off the beast he was to the poor lady who was kneeling and pleading before him, and then he told her that she could eat from the floor and called her a beggar as he wanted to push down the second dish in the direction Tina was.
Raymond could not believe that this was what Tina was going through at the hands of his best friend… this was not punishment, as Gavriel initially told him… this was pure wickedness because he never did this or acted like this when his maids, and chef were still in this house.
Then he rushed to Gavriel and held his hands as he was about to push the second dish to the floor.
“Gavriel, stop this… it is enough… she is already pleading… forgive her whatever offense she has committed.”
“Raymond said calmly as he looked down at Tina, who was sobbing.
“What do you mean by forgiving her? She wasted this already… I did not ask her to prepare anything, but see all the dishes she served here,” Gavriel said to Raymond.
“But she has apologized… please forgive her.” Raymond pleaded.
“No, I would not do that… she is my business… she is my submissive, and as her dominant, I can do whatever I choose to do with her, and that is also my business. I will not forgive this mannerless girl here… it is obvious her parents did not teach her good home manners.” Gavriel burst out, and Raymond was taken aback by the last statement. It was really bad to add her parents into this, as he thought about how Tina had felt hearing him mention her parents not teaching her food and home manners.
Tina looked up at Mr. Gavriel, and immediately he mentioned her parents. Tears flowed down her face as her chest ached.
This was the second time he called her parents into something that did not concern them, but she did not say a word… rather, she kept on sobbing more and more.
“I am so sorry, sir… it will not happen again,” Tina pleaded.
“Young lady, hold your apology to yourself… he talked about accepting him.”
“Yeah, I hope she will,” Raymond said.
“But do you know something? You are a really good cook,” Raymond added as he sipped wine from his glass, and Tina smiled.
He served her noodles and chicken wraps to eat since she said earlier that she did not have anything.
“No, I would not eat till you are done eating,” Tina insisted. “Yes, you have to eat now as I am eating… you are not a beggar because it is only beggars that eat the remaining of a dish or leftovers, but that is not what you are.” Raymond convinced her, and after some arguments, she agreed as she picked up the fork and began to eat the noodles.
“Yeah, make sure you eat enough so you can gain some weight,” Raymond added, and Tina nodded.
“You are nice… there is a lot of difference between you and your best friend-a real lot of differences,” Tina said as she took a glass of water and sipped.
“Yeah, there are a whole lot of differences, but Gavriel was not like this… even during the last incident, he was not as wicked as this. It is really weird and eating me up.” Raymond explained.
“But now he is already like this… in fact, let us not talk about him right now… I already feel like tearing up again,” Tina said as she picked up the glass cup again as finished up the whole water it contained.
Sure, so what else do you want to know?” Raymond asked as he looked up at her as he silently chewed the food in his mouth. “Okay, I might sound too intrusive, but if you do not want to answer the question, you do not need to say anything,” Tina said, and Raymond tried thinking about the question he thought she would ask him, but he could not place his hands anywhere.
“Uuhhm, you have been kindhearted, so I wanted to ask if you had someone in your life… if you do, then she is really lucky to have someone like you,” Tina said sincerely because if he had someone in his life, the lady was really lucky… men like him are scarce to find.
“You have really been straightforward here… okay, let me answer your question, firstly, I do not have anyone in my life, but I am currently trying to work on one, and if she accepts, I will bring her over for you to see how she is,” Raymond assured as he smiled and bisected the chicken laps and chewed them.
“Wow, I hope she accepts… in fact, I have a feeling she would,” Tina said she was not happy about the fact that he did not have anyone to share his wonderful feelings with, and she hoped the person he talked about would accept him.
“Yeah, I hope she will,” Raymond said. “But do you know something? You are a really good cook,” he added as he sipped wine from his glass, and Tina smiled.
