Chapter 65
She needed to know!
She wouldn’t let that lady off if she knew about it.
How could Belli Tannu know that she had felt this way just months ago?
That lady with Goden Bran in this villa was Ava Lins!
Goden Bran arrived home to see her cooking supper. A day ago, he stepped up behind her and held her from behind, chin on her shoulder.
She grinned when she heard this. “When did you learn to utter nice words?”
Then go watch TV or anything else in the living room while I make supper.
Goden Bran smiled and nodded before kissing her on the cheek and leaving.
Ava Lins’ grin faded slowly. But why did she still feel empty inside?
She became greedier.
To her, she was the happiest woman on the planet as long as he loved her and held her in his heart.
Was it enough love?
His betrayal had shattered her confidence in him and made her hate him.
She wouldn’t have doubted anything he said before, however. She completely trusted him.
But now…
The fact that he didn’t answer the phone last night was due to his hectic schedule.
Then she pushed herself to believe him in her heart.
Ava Lins closed her eyes, seeing herself as overly emotional. She shouldn’t have any reservations now that she’s opted to give him another opportunity and again trust him.
Ava Lins took a deep breath .
They ate and watched TV as normal that night.
He’d been in the study late that evening. She learned Goden Bran’s passion for his business as she watched him work tirelessly….
“Go and sleep first, I’ll be back in a moment,”Goden Bran said, seeing she was drowsy and dozing on the couch.
“Then I’ll go to bed first,” she said, yawning and nodding.
On her way back to bed, she recalled something.
“Hello,”Ava Lins said, putting the phone to her ear.
“Where can I get Red Braised Rock Spotted Fish?”
“Huh?”
“Tell me the steps and supplies.”
Jeorge Milton’s quiet voice came out. “Why are you asking this?”Ava Lins massaged her eyes, skeptical.
“Can we do more?”
After 2 hrs…
“Why is it so bad, did you teach me wrong?” screamed Ava Lins, exhausted.
“Mm…”
Her perception shifted. She mumbled a response before dozing off.
“Hello?”
“Hello?”
A dejected Jeorge Milton sat down with his chopsticks and listened to her breathing, but he couldn’t hang up.
You may ask Mrs. Ben to cook for you tomorrow if you truly want to eat the fish she makes.
Not knowing what was going on tonight, he said wanting this meal and Mrs. Ben was done preparing, so he claimed he didn’t want it and had to phone for instructions.
Mrs. Ben proceeded to clean up the messes.
Ava Lins slept with her phone that night.
Goden Bran eventually put her phone aside at daybreak. He glanced at her phone, which was dead.
Next day.
She waited for Goden Bran’s car outside the villa and rang the doorbell.
But she had not anticipated to see such a face when she opened the door.
A face she despised.
Her face stiffened. This, she knew, was wrong!
How is this possible?
Similarly, Ava Lins was astonished. Belli Tannu had never informed anybody about this location, so she was shocked she could discover it.
Goden Bran had warned her not to tell anybody, so Ava Lins was understandably and pleasantly startled to see Belli Tannu at the doorway.
“Wait, why?”
“How do you know this place?” she asked, affectionately taking Belli Tannu’s hand.
Belli Tannu was unable to speak due to a large stone in her throat.
It seemed absurd to her!
Her chest shook as she angrily flung Ava Lins’ hands away, her eyes swollen with rage.
Why is it always her?
“What’s wrong with you?”
“Don’t touch me!”Belli Tannu screamed hysterically as Ava Lins reached for her hand.
Belli Tannu drew back, her eyes welling.
She rushed into the room, straight to the bedroom and bathroom, under Ava Lins’ doubtful gaze.
Goden Bran’s stuff was all here.
He was here. He lived here!
Ava Lins arrived just in time to see Belli Tannu leave the room. Belli Tannu’s eyes were red and wet, her chest heaving as if she wanted to erupt.
But she collapsed in front of him.
Ava Lins rushed up, pulled out her phone, and dialed 911.
Belli Tannu had chronic nephritis.
If you don’t get surgery, you’ll get severe uremia…
What Ava Lins heard shocked her. Belli Tannu, so young…
Doctors said Belli Tannu’s family was not suitable for transplant surgery.Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.
Ava Lins sat dazed in the hospital’s long corridor. She feared Belli Tannu would die if she didn’t get help.
Death was too scary.
She left before Belli Tannu woke up. She returned home and sat glumly for the rest of the day.
She recalled Belli Tannu rescuing her when she was young, despite her own safety.
She clearly remembered…
These guys chased her and Belli Tannu that day, but Belli Tannu ran away. When they realized they couldn’t catch her, they turned to Ava Lins.
Belli Tannu turned back just as Ava Lins’ heart was breaking.
She assumed Belli Tannu had returned safely home and never expected her to return to save herself…
She ran alone to her aid.
That one moment affected Ava Lins, and she did everything she could to protect Belli Tannu.
Who would think to help you?
So Ava Lins recalled Belli Tannu’s friendship with her.
But she didn’t think of saving Belli Tannu right away. She dreaded a kidney transplant.
She needed a kidney transplant but lacked the courage to go through the tests.
Ava Lins felt she had let down Belli Tannu…
She was much weaker than Belli Tannu when she rescued her. She only saw herself…
She knew she had two kidneys and could live with one transplanted.
She grabbed the package and ran back to the hospital.
Ava Lins went to Belli Tannu’s ward after a series of tests.
Belli Tannu couldn’t believe Ava Lins would actually donate her kidney to him when she heard from the doctor that she had initiated an examination.
