Chapter 13
Ava’s mind was a mess at the moment.
She did not want to listen. This would turn her world upside down!
The sound of a car could be heard downstairs.
She hurried to the window and looked out, it was Goden Bran’s car, what should she do?
“Get up, get up,” Ava said in a panic and rushed over.
She could not hide it and reached for his hand.
She shoved him into the closet. “Please, can you stay here for now? Do not let the Goden find you,” she murmured softly as he approached her.
He could not resist. “My clothes are still outside,” he said expressionlessly.
She hurriedly stuffed his clothes and him in to the closet and closing the door.
Jeorge Milton grinned and twisted his lips into a mocking grin.
As Ava folded the blanket, the bedroom door was pushed open. “You are back,” she said with a forced grin.
Goden Bran frowned. He went straight to the nightstand, bent down, and took the things out of the drawer.
“Did you take your medication yesterday? I was busy, so I did not visit you at the hospital.”
“This is the prescription I recommended you take when you go to the hospital, if you are sick, you have to take the medicine,…”
“Enough!”
He did not reach for her pills. He grabbed his things and walked past her. A bang in the closet greeted him at the entrance.
Goden Bran stopped, turned and peered into the closet. Ava Lins’ heart beat to her throat when she heard the clatter of the closet door, and her hands shook.
He returned, approached her, and again looked contemptuously at the closet door.
“I always thought you were a simpleton, Ava. How can you hide a man”
She had no idea that this ice-cold guy’s mocking could be so painful.
“No, Goden, I…”
She reached for his arm, but he pulled it back as if to avoid the sickness.
“You still want to defend yourself? Do you take me for a fool?” he sneered.
“Since you claimed you did not, then prove it to me. Open the door!”
Ava’s heart trembled at this sentence.
“What?” he scoffed, “you do not dare open it?”
“I’ll help you!” he shouted, gritting his teeth as he stared into her confused face.
Then he made his way to the closet.
“I did not do anything to deceive you,” she approached him. “Believe me.”
“Get out!”
The thought of a man in there made him angry!
Omi Lins immediately rushed in the room and made a punch on his cheek.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
“Omi!” said Ava, stunned
“Omi, stop it!
“Goden Bran!” Omi Lins grinned at Goden Bran. “Are you human? ”
His naive sister was willing to put up for this guy. Not only did he not know how to take care of her, he was even looking for a woman outside!
Goden Bran scoffed bitterly as he wiped the blood from his palm.
“You scumbag!”
“Omi, what are you doing! He’s your brother-in-law!” screamed Ava.
“What an ungrateful brat!”
“Sis, get out of my way!”
“Omi, please.”
Ava’s heart ached and her eyes welled up with tears.
Omi Lins stared at her, hands clenched into fists, Goden Bran suffered his anger and moved away. Ava sat down quietly on her bed, her heart empty.
Omi Lins’ heart ached, but he could not comfort his sister.
At that moment, the closet door opened. Omi was surprised when the man came out.
Jeorge Milton pursed his thin lips as he watched her expression. He jumped up, grabbed his clothes and went out.
“Sis?”
“How could Jeorge Milton…”
“Calm down, Omi.”
She was exhausted, even her breathing seemed tired…
“Let me calm down,” Ava said, fighting the desire to cry and the despair.
At the bar
Jeorge Milton sat in front of the counter drinking the red wine, his eyebrows knotted.
He was quite upset now!
He felt discouraged, he did not want to stay in the closet, but he remembered how she pitifully clutched him as Goden Bran and told him her deep thoughts.
He sat inside, thinking about her feelings and considering going out, until he noticed that she was pale.
“Brother, you have fallen in love with some young girl,?”
“Do you think that’s possible?” asked Jeorge Milton, turning to the serious Feru.
When they left the bar, Goden Bran hugged Tannu warmly and bowed his head.
“This is the CEO of the Goden Group, Goden Bran. Look at the lady next to him, her father is big investor.”Feru explained.
When Jeorge Milton heard this, he stubbed out his cigarette, with a mocking look in his eyes.
Ava was in a bad mood when she left his apartment.
“Ava, your father has let you down by imposing on you too early the duty of supporting your family and causing you constant grief, Take this company, you can sell it for a fortune.”
