“Dad?” Jayden asked surprisingly. For years, the twin had been asking their mom about their father but Lily had always said their father abandoned her when she was pregnant and that she had no idea where their father was anymore. Jayden turned to look at Lily as if asking if what Drake Bell said was true.

This is the truth and there was no need denying it, so Lily nodded. Although he didn’t like for the kids to ever meet Drake Bell but fate already made this happen.

Jayden and Isabella looked at Drake Bell with a displeased look. The kids had bore grudges against their dad a long time ago after learning what he did to their mom.

Jayden walked up to Isabella and held her hand, “mom, let’s leave this place quick. I’m scared he may hurt us all again.”

Hearing Jayden say this aches Drake Bell’s heart, he sensed at once that Lily must have definitely told them something ill about their father. Now he has to work hard to redeem his image before his kids.

“I won’t hurt you.” Drake Bell said. Seeing the two jewels merries his heart. The kids were his produce and he felt grateful and joyful about it. It looked like a miracle to him. He had thought that he would never be able to produce a child since he had sex a couple of times with Lily during their marriage but couldn’t conceive for him.

Jayden and Isabella however didn’t believe his words so Isabella held Lily’s hand, “Mom, let’s leave.”

“Bye, Mr. Drake,” Lily said and turned. Holding her twin, one by her left hand and the other by her right hand.

“I’ll drive you home.” Drake Bell spoke. Did these kids realize that they are now the children of a billionaire? He would never watch them take a cab home when he had tones of super expensive cars in his garage.

Lily immediately spoke, “that won’t be necessary, Mr. Drake.” She immediately took steps forward, sensing that he may want to insist.

As predicted, Drake Bell walked towards them and said, “I insist.”

“No please,” Although Drake Bell already knows where Lily stays, Lily didn’t want to entertain him at all. Infact, she didn’t want to have anything to do with h except for the business between her company and his company.

“These are my kids and I can’t let them continue to suffer.”

“Who says they have been suffering? I’m well to do,” Lily bursted out angrily. She had worked hard and made sure her kids live the most comfortable life over the years yet he had the gut to assume the kids had been suffering.

“You either let me drive my kids in my car or I’ll abduct them legally and deny you access to them forever,” he threatened seriously. He was the type with an untamed temper. Everyone knows of how ruthless and merciless he can be whenever he’s angry.

The children didn’t like the harsh tone at which he speaks to their mom. They confirmed even more that their father truly hates their mom. Isabella felt very pathetic for her mom.

“I don’t like you,” Jayden said to Drake Bell, seeing how he’s threatening their mom. He even threatened he would abduct them and deny their mom access to them.

Drake Bell looked at Jayden with a gentle face, His emotionaless and cold face was immediately hidden before his lovely boy.

“I just want to drive you hom, that’s all.” He spoke gently.

“Fine,” Lily agreed. What’s the point arguing with a man that will eventually do what he wants to do.

Drake Bell then lead the mother and her two kids to the car. Soon, he began to drive.

Lily sat between her two kids at the backseat while Drake Bell watched how the mother and the kids bond together in a lovely manner through the front mirror. He regretted not being there for the kids for the past five years. Now, he wants to make up for it with everything he has.

The kids could only rest their head on their mom’s body but couldn’t really engage her in conversation because of the presence of a third party amidst them. Although Drake Bell was the kid’s father, they still regarded him as a stranger and felt uncomfortable around him.

Soon, Drake Bell pulled over before their house then he stepped down from the car. Lily soon stepped down alongside her twin.

Lily didn’t bother to bid Drake Bell a bye, not after how he hijacked her kids and stressed her out.

Just when Lily, Jayden and Isabella were about entering through the door, Jayden back to look at the tall Drake Bell who was standing by the car. Soon, the mother and her two kids faded out of Drake Bell’s sight.

Drake Bell felt bad seeing the house his children are living. It’s not like the house is bad, it’s that the house is less in quality compared to the exorbitant houses he has. He has so many villas and estates. There are houses he bought that he hadn’t even stepped his foot on talkless of laying his head to sleep in one of the houses.

Infact, he has more than 365 houses, so he can comfortably sleep in one house per day for an entire year. He was so wealthy yet his children and the mother of his children had lived an average life all these years.

He would make up for it all, he assured himself. Soon, he got inside his car and drove off.

Whereas, once Lily and her twin got inside the room, she began to ask them all sorts of questions like where they were taken to, how it was like, if they ate there? If anyone abused them positively or negatively but the kids said that they were treated with respect and adoration where they were. But that although they were offered all sort of delicacies, they refused to eat cause their mom wasn’t present.

Lily then went to the kitchen and make a delicious meal for her kids and for herself. Soon, the mother and her two kids sat in the mini dinning room and ate. About an hour later, she read bedtime stories for them and lead them to sleep.

She soon lay on her bed and began to think about all that had happened today. Then an idea suddenly dropped in her head, “although she was well to do, her power was nothing compared to that of Drake Bell. Who knows whether he was already planning on abducting her kid? If he does, then she wouldn’t be able to live with her kids anymore.

There is only one option, tender a resignation letter to the company that sent her here and move back to that same city to find another job. Afterall, there are many job opportunities in Atlanta as well plus she was already experienced and popular in the design world.

She would do just that!

She then stood and began to pack her luggage and that of the kids. Then she went ahead to sleep and set an alarm that would wake her up by 5AM the following day. Her plan was to take the 6AM train to Atlanta.

Hours passed quickly, she woke up before the alarm could even ring then went ahead and woke her children up. It was uncomfortable for the kids but she had to pet them promising them she would let them sleep in the train.

Soon, the mother and her two kids were outside of their house. It was 5:40 AM. They were able to get a cab that would drive them to the train station.

They were already looking at the train station from afar when a car suddenly blocked the cab they were in.

“What’s going on?” Lily asked the cabman eventhough she can also see a car park before their car.

Soon, a man and a woman came out of the car that suddenly parked. The cloud was just lightening up but darkness was yet to loose total control of the day so Lily could barely recognize the two people that stepped out of the car that parked before them.

The cab driver stepped down from the car knowing for sure that they were not cops since their car wasn’t a cop’s car. Lily was now getting worried where she sat. As for her kids, they were already sleeping on her body at the backseat of the car.

All of a sudden, she couldn’t catch a sight of the cab driver anymore. Then a knock landed on her window and she opened the door. She was stunned to see Sarah.

“Miss Sarah?” She asked surprisingly.

Soon, Liam also appear, “please come down miss. Lily.”

“Where is the cab driver?” Before Liam and Sarah could respond, she asked angry, “Did Drake Bell tell you to stalk me?”

“Miss Lily, we are only obeying command. Don’t worry about the cab driver, we have a better cab here to take you home.” Liam said.

“Which home? I’m travelling and please don’t even interrupt,” Lily said, this time, Jayden had now woken up.

The cab driver suddenly appeared, “miss, please step down from my car immediately.”

Lily wondered why the man suddenly want her to step down, seeing how serious the man sounded, she stepped down with her kids. She watched as the cab man got inside his cab and sped off.

Lily reasoned that they must have threatened him. “Did your boss wants to keep me hostage now?” She asked angrily, “I’m leaving and nobody can stop me.”

“I can and I have,” a voice suddenly spoke. At once, Liam and Sarah dissapeared from the scene.
