Calliope POV

It’s hard to believe the twins will be ten today. With Faith only being a year older, they feel more like triplets. They are honestly inseparable. I’m glad they have each other. They are also a big help with Evie and Cyprus. They are five years old and a handful. They definitely keep us on our toes. We are having a party to celebrate the twins’ and Faith’s birthdays. She insisted on waiting to have her party with them. I head down to the kitchen, which isn’t easy these days. I’m ready to pop. I have threatened Eli that this is it. We are having twins again and seven pups is enough. I walk into the kitchen and the omegas are buzzing around. “Alpha, we have everything under control. Please go sit and relax”, Maggie the head omega says. “I just want to make sure you girls are alright. I know how much extra work a party like this is for you all.” She smiles “we love to help celebrate. This is our contribution and we love doing it for the pups.” I wrap her in a hug before I make my way back upstairs to check that everyone is getting ready for the party. I open the door to the girls’ room and they are dressed. “Don’t you all look beautiful.” They all rush over and hug me. Faith lays her head against my belly. “We can’t wait to meet you” she says in her sweet voice.

“I’m going to go check on your brothers. Why don’t you go find Grandpa Lincoln and Grandma Amelia.” They run out of the room and I chuckle. I head down the hall and open the door to the boys’ room. They are playing games and are still in their pajamas. “Elias and Cyprus what are you doing”, I ask and they snap their heads in my direction. “We were just playing a game, mom” Elias says. “You know we have the party today. I want you both dressed and downstairs in twenty minutes. Do not make me

come back up here.” “Yes mom” they say in unison and I chuckle. I close the door and head to our office. I push open the door and Eli is sitting behind the desk. As soon as he sees me, he is on his feet. Goddess, this man takes my breath away even after all of these years. He presses a kiss on my lips and I melt into him. When he pulls back, he smiles at me before he drops to his knees. “How are daddy’s little ones today?” “They are using mommy’s bladder to play soccer.” “Hey you two take it easy on your mommy.” He stands back up and kisses me again. “How are you feeling love?” “Like I’m ready to have these pups.” He rubs my belly. “Thankfully the doctor said any day it should be happening.”

I go back to check on the boys and thankfully they are dressed. We head downstairs and outside to the pack yard. It’s completely decorated with greens, blues, and purples. The kids’ favorite colors. I love our pack. I look around at our family. My mother is sitting at the table with Leo. Their son, my brother Jason, is running around with our pups. He will be having his tenth birthday next week. I’m so glad that my mother got a real chance at happiness. Tony and Oliver are sitting next to Felix. Anna found her mate in the Red Moon Pack and she will be coming with Evelyn and Hudson. I notice Felix start to sniff the air and I turn to see Laura look right at him. I see fear flash across her face as he approaches. “Mate” he says and she drops her gaze. “I’m an omega” she says and my heart breaks. I know that won’t matter to Felix, but I hate that she even felt that way for a moment. “You are my mate. I don’t care what your rank is”, Felix says, and her eyes finally meet his. I smile and they head toward Tony and Oliver, who are smiling from ear to ear.

I see Larisa and Magnum heading toward us with their pups. Lacey is nine and Lawrence is five. She wraps me in a hug. “Goddess, I don’t envy you right now. I remember when I was that close.” I roll my eyes. “Thanks Larisa” I say and she heads toward Lincoln and Amelia. Rose and Oscar come to hug me next. Their three pups have already taken off to join the others. Their daughter Bre is eight, Charles is five, and Lynn is three. We all take our seats and Eli rubs circles on my lower back. I’ve been having pain since last night, but nothing that stayed consistent. Cayden and Penny join us. Their daughter Esme is nine and she acts like a mini version of her mother. They have a new pup, Theo, and he looks just like Cayden. The party is in full swing and the kids are having a blast. Eli goes to grab some food

for us both. Thankfully, Amelia and Lincoln helped to make sure the kids ate. Honestly, we would be lost without them. Eli sets my plate down in front of me and kisses my forehead. “Thank you”, I say, and begin to eat. Evelyn and Hudson finally arrive and sit at our table. “Alpha” I say and she smirks. “Alpha” she says back. A few minutes pass and Isabella, their daughter, rushes over to Hudson. I can see tears in her eyes. “What’s the matter, Izzy”, Hudson asks, and I can see that he doesn’t like to see her upset. “Daddy, Elias says he won’t be my mate.” I cover my mouth to stop myself from laughing. Hudson growls low, “sweet girl, you are too young for a mate.” She pouts and it’s the cutest thing ever. Isabella rushes off to join the other pups. “You never know they might be mates” Evelyn says. “She can’t have a mate till she is thirty”, Hudson says, and Evelyn rolls her eyes. I love these times when we are all together.

Eli POV

I will never be able to thank the goddess enough for giving me a chance at happiness twice in my lifetime. I watch our pups run and play. They are happy and loved. I am so grateful for my family and pack. Calliope is an amazing mate and she loves Faith like fiercely. True to her word, she told Faith how special she was to have had Clara as her first mother. She even put a picture of Clara on Faith’s dresser. Faith reminds me of Clara both in looks and personality. She is kind and selfless. She gathers all the pups so we can cut the cake. We all sing happy birthday to Faith, Elias, and Destiny. As I look at these pups that I helped create, I couldn’t be more grateful for my blessings. Cyprus and Evie rush over for their cake. They are definitely the hellions of the crew. I wonder what the new pups will be like. We decided to wait to find out what we are having since this will probably be our last pups. A grunt brings me out of my thoughts. I look at Calliope and she is doubled over in front of me. “Calliope” I say, but I’m already on my feet. I scoop her out of the chair and rush toward the pack hospital.

As soon as we arrive, the doctor leads us back to the delivery room. Once Calliope is hooked up to the machines, I take a seat next to her and take her hand in mine. Despite the pups having no issues during their births, I still have that fear in me when Calliope is in labor. “I’m proud of you Eli”, Silas says.

“I know how broken you were. I was broken too. Despite the fear, you accepted our gift and now we are the luckiest wolf and man. We have a beautiful mate and soon we will have seven pups. You were the human that made me worthy again. You were my second chance and I am grateful to the goddess every day that she gave me to you.” I push my love for Silas through our bond. He is the biggest reason that I didn’t screw everything up and I am the one that isn’t broken anymore because of him, because he knew what it was to lose a mate. The doctor checking Calliope brings me out of my thoughts. “Alright Alpha, it looks like these pups want out. You are ten centimeters dilated.” He gets ready and a few hours later we welcome our sons to the world. Ethan and Noah make our family complete. I bend down and kiss my beautiful mate. “Thank you for loving me and making me a father again.” “I love you, Eli Thomas, and I will love you in this life and the next.”
