Betrayal At The Altar

Chapter 76

Chapter 76

“David!” Rachel hammered his chest in anger.

Unexpectedly, David grabbed her hand and said deeply, “Rae–Rae, I really love you.”

Facing this sudden confession, Rachel was at a loss. She pulled her hand back uncomfortably and tidied her messy hair.

However, David did not give up. He stretched out his arm and pulled her into his arms.

David buried his face in her neck and took a deep breath. His thin lips pressed against her ear as he said unhurriedly, “I know that my love surprised you, but I’m also the one who was frightened. I thought I wouldn’t love you as much as I did today, but I thought the same yesterday.”

Rachel stood rooted to the ground, her eyes wide with unconcealable shock.

David looked at the stunned Rachel with patience. He gently caressed her cheek with his fingertips and rubbed her soft lips with his fingertips. His Adam’s apple bobbed up and down. Finally, he could not help but lean down and gently touch the softest part of her body that he had always yearned for.

The man’s cold aura instantly enveloped Rachel, and she gradually regained her senses.

When she looked up, she suddenly met David’s burning and deep gaze.

As if she had been scalded, she hurriedly averted her eyes from him and pushed the man away. Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

Unexpectedly, David’s arm wrapped around her waist tightly, making it impossible for Rachel to break free.

David lowered his head and looked at her. The redness on Rachel’s face disturbed his mind a little, and his eyes became darker and

deeper. “Rae–Rae, I regret it. I don’t want to wait anymore.”

Rachel’s eyebrows twitched. She looked at him in a panic. “David…”

Before she could finish speaking, the man’s palm grabbed the back of her head and her unfinished words were drowned in the kiss.

David greedily took her scent and explored every inch of her mouth.

The sudden kiss caught Rachel off guard. Her mind went blank. She completely forgot to struggle, as if everything happened naturally.

David’s arm tightened about her waist till she finally came back to her senses and used all her strength to push him away.

His face was right in front of her, and his dark eyes were terrifyingly deep and filled with heat as if he wanted to chew Rachel into pieces and swallow her.

David’s well–defined fingers grabbed her chin so that Rachel was face to face with him. He bent down slightly and placed his hand on her smooth forehead. “Rae–Rae, I don’t want to apologize for my actions just now.”

Rachel pursed her lips and held her breath. She tried her best to control the emotions in her heart. “You said you wouldn’t force me.”

“I thought I could pretend to be a gentleman.” David gazed into her, his eyes filled with indescribable emotion. “But from my loss of control just now, I’m even more certain that you’re the only one I want in this life!”

David had always been calm and restrained, but he never knew that just a kiss was enough to make him lose control at any time.

Rachel’s already flustered heart was completely in a mess. Her eyes flickered, and for a moment, she did not know how to respond.

After pondering for a long time, she said, her voice trembling uneasily, “I need time to think…”

With that, she opened the car door and rushed out.

David looked at her fleeing back with a meaningful smile touching the corner of his mouth.

He was attracted by Rachel’s looks at the beginning. Slowly after he started getting to know her, he could feel that he was not repulsed by her and was even interested in her. Later on, he was certain that he was determined to get the woman!
