I wore my sunglasses to protect my eyes from the sun, it’s been thirty minutes since na-upo alo dito sa loob ng coffee shop at inaantay pa rin ang pag-dating ni Lynx na nangako sa akin na pupunta raw siya at may kailangan siyang ipakita.

“Where the fuck is that bitch?” I whispered still trying to dialed her number but operator lang ang nasagot sa’kin.

“Hey” My eyes widened a bit when I saw ho sat in front of me, Si Adam na naman “Alone?”

I roamed my eyes mockingly before nodding, as if may nakikita siyang iba, right?

“A-ah.. may hinihintay?” I licked my lower lips before staring at him for a minute.

“Wala na… hindi na darating iyon” I leaned my back to the chair before shamelessly surveying his body and when I’m satisfied, I raised a brow “Ikaw? What are you doing here, Love?” I teased but he just threw me a dark glared.

Staring at him made me realize something, he changed, It’s obvious–Physically yes, but emotionally? I guess… not? Maybe his feelings for me fade but some things never changed.

He stared somewhere while scratching his nose a little, that’s his mannerism, he then looked at me with questioning eyes.

“Bakit?” He looked innocent but when you tried staring at his eyes, it’s dark and dangerous.

“Sa lahat ng tumingin sa’yo ako lang pinansin mo” I said almost whispered.

“Marami ba?” I stiffened remembering something, Deja vu. Ganto kami unang nakapag-usap ng matino, sa canteen, foundation day, I smiled bitterly.

“Yeah, you’re a head turner” I spoke what’s inside my head that time “Why did you cut your hair? Nawala onti yung kulot” I tried changing the topic

“A-ah… wala gusto ko lang” he looked awkward with me so I chuckled “I’m going somewhere, you want to come?”

I looked around still waiting for Lynx to arrived but still she’s nowhere to be found.

I nodded “Tara?”

Dahil wala akong dalang sasakyan papunta rito ay sa kaniya na ako naki-sakay, while driving I can’t stop staring and admiring his changed.

“You become more manly, Adam” I said while staring at the veins visible in his hands.

“Ako lang ‘to, Reu” I looked at him at disbelief

“Wow ha? Kabigla naman ikaw pala yan” I said with full of sarcasm making him laughed. “Where are we going pala?”

“Secret, I’m sure you’ll like it there” he then winked at me, loko talaga.

“Ha?” Mabilis kong itinago ang cellphone ko at napa-tingin sa labas ng sasakyan, My eyes almost went out nang makita kung gaano kaganda ang lugar at kung nasaan kami.

Nasa beach kami!

“What are we doing here?” My voice got excited at halos hindi ko maalis ng ayos ang seatbelt ko kamamadali, ang ganda!

Mabilis akong tumakbo palabas ng sasakyan at binuka ang mga kamay na tila ba sinasalubong ang malamyos na simoy ng hangin

“Halika!” I heard Adam called me at doon ko lamang nakita na inilapit niya ang sasakyan sa dagat at umupo sa hood ng sasakyan habang may hawak na beer.

I smiled before walking towards him.

Hinawakan niya ang aking kamay at inalalayan sa pag-upo sa tabi niya, he handed me a bottle of beer

“Bakit mo ako dinala dito?” I looked at him and to just see that his eyes is teary, what the fuck did I do?!

“Uh… I miss you”

Beat. I felt my heart stop beating for a second, I looked at him shocked while my lips left hang open

“Uh..” I couldn’t say anything!

“Sorry for making you feel uncomfortable, but you teach me to be honest with you always” I almost laughed when he says those words.

Be honest with me? Bakit hindi niya nagawa ‘yan bago kami maghiwalay?!

Sa loob ng limang taon nakumbinsi ko ang sarili ko na wala na… wala na akong nararamdaman sa kaniya kahit galit o tampo, but seeing him and hearing him confessing shits to me, I couldn’t help but to cry.

“I want to asked you a question” I bit my lower lips fighting the argue to cry “I know Soriena threatened you about the photos or videos, but did you really… do it?”

I smiled bitterly remembering Steve and I fought about that, I force him to tell me the truth I even use the love of his life that triggered him.

“You want to know the truth?! Why don’t you asked that bitch why the fuck she threatened your damn ex boyfriend! I don’t know if they really f-ck each other! Ask him! Ask them yourself!”

“At first? I really thought nagawa ko ‘yon” he stared blankly at the sky before facing me with a sad smile ” but after a month of being coward and a-hole, I tried everything to make her admit the truth and she confessed that we didn’t really didn’t do that shit and the photos are nothing but when I invited your friends to help me admit thr truth to you… Soriena made them believe we are still doing something behind your back”

I saw how tears started falling down to his cheeks and it made me cry more.

It’s so stupid of me to not letting him explain his side I’m so stupid!

“I’m so sorry… I’m so sorry” I bit my lips trying to stop my self from sobbing but I failed. I felt a warm hands caressing my back and slowly snaking his hands around my waist to pulled me closer and hug me.
