Chapter 27: It Is What It Is

She definitely knew he was not going to shun them, because was clearly aware of how much he loves attention.

Seems she still needed to figure out the need for all these madness. It’s not like he had an album or a movie to promote.

“So what do we do about this now? Shouldn’t we leave?” she asked him, a bit dissatisfied.

Thomas looked at her and the focused on the people outside like he doesn’t care about what she thinks.

“Hello!” he said to the people outside after rolling down his car window.

“Officer Thomas!”

“Officer Thomas its such a pleasure to meet with you sir!”

“Officer Thomas!!!!”

“Now listen, I will only answer one question and please make it real quick.” Thomas voiced out.

He was already pissed at how his named was being mentioned repeatedly by different people at the same time.

“Officer Thomas, please could you tell the general public what you are doing with the famous reporter, Miss Anita?” one intelligent paparazzi asked daringly.

Thomas turned and looked at Anita before facing the guy and said. “Miss Anita has being doing pretty well ever since she started this career of hers. She’s doing well, so a cup of coffee shouldn’t be a bad thing or what do you think?” Thomas said to the paparazzi.

They then waved their heads like they agreed to what he said.

Thomas saw how block headed they were. Immediately, he rolled up the car window and drove out of the environment.

He drove for sometime without a word. Soon, he felt the aura that surrounded the car and decided to stop the car.

Thomas packed the car after a few minutes and looked at Anita.

“of course I am. I have to be quite.”

“But why? I am not okay with it.”

“You have to.”

“Cone on! Why are acting like this? If there us a problem, say it, I am willing to sort this out.”

“Can I ask you a question Thomas?”

“Yea sure!”

“Who am I to you?”

“My woman?”

“You think so?”

“Yes I do!”

“So why couldn’t you admit that to the public? Why couldn’t you confidently tell those folks that I am yours?”

“Where is this heading to? Like how the fuck did we get here Anita? You are no kid.”

“Really? It’s good then. Drive me home.” she said to him. Unwilling to speak to him about the issue anymore as she was already burning in anger.

“No! We ain’t moving Anita. Listen, I understand okay, but it’s for your own good. I am a force. I have many enemies. You are precious to me, so I have to protect you. If I had brought you out in the public, trust me, you will have a lot to deal with.” he explained.

It was then Anita realized it. He was damn right.

“umm I think I was overthinking it…”

“No it’s fine Anita. I understand you! But, if I may ask, why were you pained about it? Is there something I should know?” he teased her.

Anita blushed.

“No I am perfectly fine. We should leave now.”

“Anita talk to me.” Thomas grabbed her cheeks with his both hands and looked at her like she was some mystery he needed to uncover.

Anita could feel the heat. Her heart then started beating up rapidly.

She had never felt that way before. This was so strange.

She got lost looking into his eyes. Thomas could see the effect he was having on her and this put him in an excited mode.

Even though he knew she didn’t understand what was going on, he wished that she would submit totally.

“I love you Anita!” he said to her.

Anita froze in shock.

Her lips opened and closed repeatedly. She wanted to speak but didn’t know what to say at all.

“I really don’t understand you Thomas. What are you saying?”

“Don’t you understand me?” he asked her, lowering his hard tone which then made it sound so soft and sexy.

Anita nodded in reply.

“Should I then make you understand?” he asked with his like almost touching get lips.

Anita felt his like allover hers and craved his lips.

Thomas understood her body language and in seconds, there is locked.

Anita brain flushed.

Her memory formatted instantly as she delved into another world with Andre.

She had never experienced something as pleasurable as that before.

Raising her hands, she placed her palms on his head and massaged it gently. Her body system already changed. She had never expected that she would go through such chemistry with Thomas.

Thomas didn’t seized the opportunity to rap his hands around her waist as he caressed her back with on of his hands like trying to turn her on.

Anita didn’t know when her hands started going down, but she was already all over Thomas’s chest.

When it felt like it was going in another direction, Anita senses jumped back. She then freaked in shocked and stopped the romance immediately.

“I don’t think I am ready to do this.” she said all of a sudden.

Thomas rubbed his forehead as he tried his best to listen to what she was saying.

It would not take him a second to have his way with her, but because she was still of strong use, he couldn’t do anything at that time, but he still didn’t let his dissatisfaction show.

“It’s fine. I understand. Hope you are good?”

“Yea I am. Thank you Thomas!” she replied, rubbing her face.

She couldn’t believe what had transpired a few minutes ago.

She then turned to look at him. He noticed her stare and looked at her back.

“By the way, I have something really important to talk to you about. It’s about Kate, my girlfriend.” Anita said upon remembering her deal with Kate. She really hoped everything worked as planned.

“Oh okay. May I know what it is about?” he asked as he started the car.
