And The Daddy Is… The Infertile Guy?!

Chapter 70

Chapter 70

Gasping for breath, Howard finally released her.

Gwendolyn’s cheeks were flushed, her eyes sparkling like dew in the morning sun.

“Wow, we’ve got quite a few shots of that pose. You guys can pick your favorites later. Let’s switch outfits now,” the photographer teased with a flirtatious undertone.

Assisted by her aide, Gwendolyn changed her clothes, and the rest of the photoshoot went by without incident.

She finally breathed a sigh of relief.

When they finished taking the wedding photos, it was evening time.

“Let’s power through this last bit, everyone. After the family portrait, we’re done.”

The Chadwick family, party of five from the second branch, beamed in front of a crimson backdrop.

“On the count of three, everyone says ‘cheese.”

Jeannie chuckled and added, “I’ve noticed if we say Gwen’s name, it brings out the smiles, too.”

Gwendolyn. Howard murmured to himself, a smile involuntarily curling the corners of his mouth.

Indeed, Gwendolyn’s beautiful eyes crinkled with her smile.

With a click, the moment was captured.

“Finally, we’re done. Gwen, how about dinner out tonight?” Still buzzing with energy after a long day, Jeannie suggested brightly.

Exhausted and weighed down by her heavy makeup, Gwendolyn shook her head.

“She’s tired. We’re heading home,” Howard said coolly.

“Fine then, we won’t keep the lovebirds. Drive safe,” Roselind cautioned them.

Howard nodded in acknowledgment and left the studio with Gwendolyn. The other three lingered behind. Suddenly, Jeannie spoke up, “Honestly, Gwen doesn’t look like that woman with all that makeup. She’s way prettier.”

Roselind’s brow furrowed in warning. “Jeannie!”

Jeannie quickly stuck out her tongue and hid behind Jameson with an appeasing smile.

In the swiftly moving car, a breeding ground for intimacy and burgeoning desire filled the dimly lit interior.

Once everything settled, the memory of their passionate kiss surfaced in Gwendolyn’s mind. She licked her. lips unconsciously. The kiss had been intoxicating and sweet.

Howard’s hands rested casually on either side, his peripheral gaze occasionally falling on her.

Suddenly, he lowered the partition between the front and back seats and turned off the lights, plunging the car into darkness.

“Mr. Chadwick?” Gwendolyn’s voice sounded confused.

“Dr. Gwen, the remedy you you gave me worked like magic,” his deep, husky voice resonated.

Gwendolyn was puzzled.

He leaned in close, lowering his voice. “I want to kiss you”

Mr. Chadwick…”

“Dear Dr. Gwen, won’t you help this patient out?” His words were a whisper as he spoke. Then he leaned in, embracing Gwendolyn’s soft form.

That was the side effect of a potent tonic. And that was the aftereffects of a wedding photoshoot.

The chemistry between a man and a woman was palpable. And wanting it or not could be discerned at a glance.

He knew she was also under the spell of hormones, so he seized the opportunity.

Men were creatures of cunning and excess.

They kissed desperately in the pitch–black space, making it hard to part. Streetlights flashed by the windows, casting brief glimpses of their passionate reflections, pulling them deeper into the abyss.

The car horns, passersby’s chatter, the aggressive pitches of street vendors, and the soft sounds from inside the car blended into the night.

At nine in the evening, the car stopped before a quaint villa. –

Gwendolyn pressed her swollen lips together, straightened her clothes, and spoke with feigned composure. “Mr. Chadwick, I… you don’t need more medication.” RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

“I don’t think I’m healed yet,” he countered.

Flustered and embarrassed, Gwendolyn replied, “Too much of a good thing. Your legs are better. The rest will follow.” Besides, he was fine.

After the impulse faded, tranquility returned.

Howard said, “Okay, I’ll listen to you.” He knew when to push and pull back, a master of balance.

He decided to cut her some slack.
