“You’ve got to wake up now, our children need us,” she said to me and I quickly remembered that something was wrong.

We quickly rushed outside.

“Enough!!!” Karen shouted as she broke the spell Greeta used on Rhea as she fell to the ground.

“Well, well, well, look who finally came to the party,” Greeta said

“Let my children be,” Karen said in anger

“Oh no, I’m scared” Greeta mocked

“My children have nothing to do with what happened to you or your mother so leave them out of this” Karen warned.

“They’ve got everything to do with it” Greeta replied

“Don’t blame anyone for your mother’s mistake or your mistake. Just face the truth, we’ve got nothing to do with your mother’s death. Stop going around looking for someone to take out your meaningless revenge on” Karen said

“Your mother was the cause of my mother’s death. Though I’ve gotten rid of her, I’m not still satisfied. I want you all to feel the pain your mother caused us” Greeta said in anger

“I know you are upset but try to find out the truth before doing anything that will hurt you,” Karen said trying to convince Greeta

“Have you ever wondered why our mothers didn’t talk to each other, or what was it that drifted them apart?” She added

“I don’t care” Greeta replied in an angry tone

Watching what was going on, I found Eric holding Jaden by the neck. Anger filled my heart. At that moment, I wanted to crush every piece of him for laying his filthy hands on my son.

“How dare you hurt my family?” I asked Eric angrily

“I promise you, you’re going to regret this very day” I cursed at him

“Watch what you say or you will regret it” Eric warned

“Is he the one that is said to be the strongest of all wolves, the one who is to rule over us?” He asked with a burst of mocking laughter which got me angrier

“You’ll regret being born kid,” he said looking at Jaden who gasped for air.

~Rhea’s POV~

The witch’s spell on me was so painful that even after she let me go, I could feel the pain. I looked up and found my mother and father standing there. Father looked really angry it showed in his face and eyes as he stared at Eric who held Jaden by his neck. Mother and the witch exchanged words, I couldn’t understand what they were talking about because of the pain. Confused about what was going on, I wondered how mother got here without being noticed. Well, she’s a witch, I’m not that surprised. I tried to crawl to them as my mother rushed to help me up.

“Aww that’s so touching” The witch mocked

“But I’m sorry, it won’t last for long” she warned

“Let him go” father warned Eric

“Or what?” Eric asked as father got angrier

“Live him out of this and face me,” father said to Eric

“It’s him I came for, not you,” Eric said to father as he tried to make a move

“Ah ah, I wouldn’t do that if I were you. Make any wrong move and I will make sure you will regret it for the rest of your life” Eric threatened

“You don’t know what you are getting into” father said as his eyes turned red which made Eric scared a little but wouldn’t let Jaden go

Lucy stood up and ran close to their o father for protection as mother helped her up.

~ Lucy’s POV~

Stood up and found my father standing in front of me. His eyes were red, he looked like he was gonna rip someone apart. Regardless of that, I quickly ran to him and hid at his back for protection. I turned and found Rhea and mother and on the other side, the witch and Eric who held Jaden by his neck. At this point, Father had no other choice but to do what Eric demands in other to save Jaden. I wish there was something I could do to help. Just then I remembered that I had powers and I could only use them if I siphon energy from a supernatural being and my father happens to be one. Thanks to the book Rhea gave me, I was able to grab some things in it. I quickly touched my father so could siphon from him. I cast a spell on a sword laying on the ground and directed it to Eric which made him let go of Jaden to dodge it but unfortunately for him, it gave him a cut on his hand. Father saw this as an opportunity and rushed Eric. He grabbed Eric by his throat and Eric gasped for air. Knowing how strong Father was, he couldn’t do anything to get himself free from his father’s grip.

“I warned you, didn’t I ?” Father asked Eric in anger

“Now tell your men to back down or I will crush you and I will make sure you get to feel every bit of the pain” father warned

Eric persisted until he could no longer take the pain from m father’s grip. He gave his mean sign to surrender and they all did.

Ahhhh

I felt a sharp pain in my head and I blacked out.

~Greeta’s POV~

Seeing what was going on, Greeta decided that this was the chance for her to escape. It looked like they’d already lost the battle. But she had to do something that would cause Karen pain. Everyone’s attention was on Eric so she used the opportunity to get hold of Lucy whose attention was on her Father and Eric. She cast a spell that made her sleep.

“You are so going to pay for what your mother did to my mother,” Greeta said as she disappeared with Lucy and Eric and his men before Karen could do anything to save her daughter.NôvelDrama.Org exclusive content.

They appeared in Eric’s house. Eric was so angry and frustrated that he couldn’t accomplish his mission.

“You need not worry, they will come to us,” Greeta said pointing at Lucy who was still unconscious

“Now, we have to prepare and wait for them. We lost at their home now we won’t let them win us. We can’t let them take us unaware.” She added
