Celine’s POV :

His fingers brushed past my cheek while his hot breath fell on my ear lobes. My naked body rubbed against his clothes and his erection felt right against my wet pussy.

“Why are you shaking? ” He asked, looking into my eyes.

I licked my lips, ” I… It’s cold. ”

He raised his brow, ” That’s it? ”

I gave him a slight nod and tried to take proper breaths because I had almost forgotten how the process of breathing being so closed to him. When his mouth came closer, I closed my eyes shut. But instead of his lips, I felt the warm cloth on top of my shoulder. When I opened my eyes again, he was giving me a hard look.

“What did you think? Your tricks are not going to work on me. ” His jaw hardened as he stared down at me.

I shook my head, ” I don’t know what you mean… ”

His smirk widened, ” You thought you could seduce me so that you wouldn’t have to go for the training. But sorry to burst your bubble, you’re coming with me. Now, hurry up and get dressed! ”

His words made no sense to me but still I didn’t get into an argument.

“You were the one who barged in the room, not me. ”

I ended up saying while I stood behind him. He heard it and turned his head in my direction but took sharp breath in and didn’t answer me. With shaking hands, I pulled the shirt on my shoulders and while trying to button it up, I missed the upper ribbon type of arrangement.

“What’s it? I don’t know how to wear this dress. ” I said, frustrated by the tangled clothes.

“First of it’s not a dress and secondly, you need to button it up and then tie the belt around your waist. ” He used his hands to make me understand.

I tried again and it ended up looking like a clown’s costume. He sighed and came closer. But he had a smile on his face.

“How are you even wearing it? It’s not so confusing…” He laughed a little while unbuttoning it. His hand touched my breast while he put the edges together and he instantly looked at me.

“Just get dressed quickly. ”

This time I was able to wear it up properly. Without wasting any other second, I followed him outside the room to the exit of the pack house.

A little sunlight was visible now yet the cold, dark atmosphere gave me chills. There wasn’t anyone present outside other than the two of us. Not even the soldiers to guard the borders.

“These are not the borders. ” He clarified my doubt.

He checked some equipments in the practice area and then took out around ten sharp arrows, checking them out by running his fingers on top of them.

“Stand over there. ” He said, pointing at the side of the fence behind me.

With Belinay rolling inside me with excitement because of the little steamy moment we shared and the adrenaline for finally practicing with her mate, I tried to keep everything in control. I couldn’t show him how my wolf wasn’t scared or feeling nervous about the training and she was so excited to show him whatever she had been planning for so long.

“Shall I grab a sword or something? ” I asked when he didn’t give me any weapon.

He had a wide smile while playing with the arrows in his hand. Without any warning, one of the arrow was thrown in my direction. I was frozen at my place but before the arrow could touch me I was already on the other side.

Alpha Tyrion didn’t like how I saved myself so he begun throwing each of them one after another. I was able to take a shield out of the wall and dodged his every strike. His temper was growing worse now because he wasn’t able to make me cry out of despair.

His eyes changed to feral form and his fangs shone brightly in the sun light.

“Now, save yourself! ” He growled before prancing high into the air and throwing three arrows at me.

Something flipped inside my soul, maybe it was Belinay, but somehow I was able to jump high enough to catch each of them arrows and throw them in his direction.

My growl echoed in the silent ground and Alpha Tyrion was able to get away from those attacks yet he looked dumbfounded.

I could feel my heart beating loudly in my chest and my cheeks burnt with anger. My fists were clenched together and I still waited for more danger to tackle with.

“How did you? ” He asked, looking at me as if I was a crazy woman.

“I just defended myself. ”

His brows were furrowed together, ” What’s wrong with your eyes? ”

I blinked twice but nothing seemed too different. I had no clue as to what he was referring to. I decided to get a glimpse in the pond water and a gasp escaped my mouth.

One of was Green while the other was Violet.

“I don’t know anything about it. ”

Alpha walked closer to me and touched my head, ” Close your eyes. ”

“Why? ” I asked.

He sighed, ” There are people around and I don’t want them to see it. They already think you’re a witch and this will make them go crazy over their claims. ”

Belinay growled in my chest at his commands. She was ready to defy the Alpha but following someone’s orders was against her hot temper.

He held my hand and nodded at me. I believed him and so closed my eyes to follow him back to the pack house.

‘Don’t act like a pus*y! Ask him to fight you. I am so readying right now. ‘ Belinay roared.

‘I don’t want to fight him. ‘

A hard gravel road felt under my feet and I frowned.

“We are going to the old Luna’s Chamber. You should just stay there. ” He said.

After we had settled in the carriage, I heard Luna calling for Alpha.

“Did you hurt her eyes? ” She asked, concerned.

“No, mom. She got dust in her eyes so I am taking her back to the old chambers now. ”

Luna was suspicious but she didn’t stop us and we were able to go ahead outside of the pack house.

“Open them now. ”

I rubbed my eyes and he glanced at them as his face showed relief.

“What the hell was that? Don’t you dare hide anything from me? ” He asked with his gritted teeth.

I was too nervous to answer that already because I had never gone through something like that before.

“I don’t know, Alpha. It was the first time something like that happened. ”

He scoffed, ” Everything is a first time with you. Huh? ”

I shook my head, ” I think my step father must have done something again. He always messes up with me. ”

A frown formed on his forehead, ” Step father? Celine, Tell me the truth. ”

I bit my lip nervously. I shouldn’t have revealed something like that to him. After all, it might sound like a hoax to him.

“Yes, he found me in the woods when I was an infant. I don’t know who my parents are. I… was never his equal. He used to hit me and made me a slave in the kingdom. If it wasn’t for his stupid plan of framing you with me, he would have sold me to brothel. I tried to tell you the truth so many times but I know I sound like a liar. Please, don’t think of me as a liar, Alpha. Please…” A sob escaped my lips and I hid my face with my hands.

There was silent for a minute but then I felt his arms around me and he hugged me.

“You don’t have to be scared of him anymore. I promise you that nobody will ever hurt you until I, Alpha Tyrion Macklin, is alive. ”

I hugged him back, “Nobody will try to backstab you, Alpha. As long as I am here, I will give my life to protect you. You’re my mate… ”

He brought his mouth closer to me and kissed me. After taking me into his arms, he made his way into the chambers.

” We are not fated mates yet my wolf says it’s the right thing.. . ” He whispered while kissing my body with his divine mouth.
