Chapter 152 Chapter 152

Chapter 152

"When are we leaving?" I asked.

"About fifteen minutes," he replied pulling a bottle from the truck he had been loading.

"How long is the journey?"

"Ten hours."

"You should probably go for a piss before we go...unless you're a fan of al frisco in the snow," I

suggested as I watched him down the large amount water.

"I will have you know, Ella Marie Jones, that one of my favourite activities is freezing my dick off. I just

love the sensation."

"The sensation of frostbite?" I asked with a breathy laugh that turned the cold air in front of me into a

cloud of water vapour.

"Just because it's an unusual fetish, doesn't give you the right to shame me," he replied.

"Luna," a voice interrupted from behind me.

I spun around to see an unfamiliar soldier. He bowed his head respectfully before presenting an armful

of items. "From the Alpha for the journey,"

"Thank you," I said before he left.

Amongst the things was a fury blanket, my favourite type of chocolate bar, my phone and a flask of

coffee.

"Where's mine?" Luca asked as I wrapped the thick blanket around myself and put my phone in the

pocket of Connor's jacket.

"Same place as your mate. Narnia probably."

"Just because you found yours at 17...."

"You're 26. Can you hurry up? I'd quite like to meet your pups before I die of old age," I replied.

"Max was 27," Luca pointed out.

"True...but that was probably the Goddesses punishing him for being such a shit person until he was

24."

Luca smirked as he looked over my shoulder. I turned around knowing exactly what was behind me

and rolled my eyes.

"Why do you have to turn up at the worst times?" I asked. "And shouldn't you still be bonding with my

Dad?"

"He told me to fuck off so off I fucked," he replied.

"Max!" I hissed slapping his chest. "You are meant to be trying!" This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

At that point, a bell sounded and there was another wave of busy movement.

"Oh no! Too late," Max said sarcastically. "We're leaving."

I scowled as he walked off with a smirk on his face.

"Ella, I normally look for the positivity in life but sometimes you have to accept the fact that there is

none and move on. You are fighting a losing battle," Luca said.

"Whatever," I mumbled.

"Are you ready?"

I looked into the forest where we had left Connor, sighed and nodded.

"Come on," he said softly wrapping an arm around me and guiding me towards one of the black jeeps.

"You'll be home by nightfall."

I rested my head on his chest and nodded. I wasn't sure I really wanted to get home. Home meant my

children but it also meant Leo.
