Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

Just as Alpha Kilian was about to speak, Alpha Wade returned after dropping off the children at school.

The two Alphas silently agreed not to mention the matter and burden Alpha Wade with worry.

As Alpha Wade entered the room and noticed that it was just the two of them, he was rather annoyed. He walked towards Nelly and stared at her intently. “How are you, Nelly? Feeling any better?”

“Yup, I’m all better now, Grandpa.”

“Do you feel any discomfort? Any aches on your body?” Alpha Wade asked with concern.

Nelly shook her head and replied, “Just a few minor abrasions. Don’t worry, Grandpa.”

“Abrasions? Oh dear, any accident can lead to a major problem! You were lucky this time. If anything happens to you, what am I going to do?” Alpha Wade fretted.

After considering for a moment, Nelly admitted, “I didn’t think it through. I’m sorry, Grandpa, for making you worry. There won’t be a next time, I promise.” She flashed a coy smile at him.

In that moment, Alpha Wade’s heart softened, and he couldn’t bring himself to reprimand her any further.

Meanwhile, Alpha Kilian fell into a daze as he watched Nelly.

This woman can be so open and casual with anyone. Sometimes she jokes around, and other times she carries herself with dominance. But here she is, being coy and playful. Am I the only exception? When she’s with me, she acts ready to wage war at any moment. She makes me feel like I owe her a great debt!

Interrupting the silence, Alpha Kilian spoke up. “Old Mr. Jackson, it is my fault. Grandpa meant well when he gave Nelly a car, but I was unable to prevent the accident. I take full responsibility.”

Nelly?

Hearing his words, Nelly lifted her head to look at him. She couldn’t help but shudder at the way he addressed her.

Why does it sound so eerie when he calls me that?

Nelly wasn’t the only one taken aback. Alpha Wade also turned to look at Alpha Kilian, his eyes filled with meaning.

He knew that Alpha Kilian wanted to protect Nelly, but it was too late now.

If only Alpha Kilian had done so years ago, Alpha Wade wouldn’t be so angry with him.

Alpha Wade commented, “I understand your intentions, and it’s not your fault…” After a brief pause, he continued, “Anyway, thank you for saving Nelly. I know you must be busy, Alpha Morris. It’s getting late, so I should let you go. I’ll take care of the rest.”

It was clear that Alpha Wade was implying that Alpha Kilian should leave.

Hearing this, Alpha Kilian gazed at him, then at Nelly.

He knew Alpha Wade had a bias against him, and there was nothing he could say at the moment to change that. But he couldn’t just let it slide. “Old Mr. Jackson-”

“I hope that the Morris family will no longer give Nelly any valuable gifts. After all, you two are divorced. If anything happens to her, I can’t guarantee that I’ll remain rational,” Alpha Wade interrupted.

With that, Alpha Kilian was left speechless.

After frowning and hesitating for a while, Alpha Kilian nodded and muttered, “Understood.”

“Good. You better leave.” Alpha Wade left him with that and sat down, his back turned to Alpha Kilian, not even sparing him a glance.

As Alpha Kilian stood frozen, his phone rang. Glancing at the screen, he furrowed his brows. Then, he shifted his gaze to them and announced, “I will take my leave now.”

With that, he turned around, exited the room, and closed the door behind him.

Looking at Alpha Wade, Nelly remarked, “Grandpa, you weren’t exactly subtle in asking him to leave.”

“Oh, really? At least I didn’t tell him to get lost. He should be grateful that I was being polite,” he said angrily. “He shouldn’t think I’ll forgive him just because he’s acting nice.”

Nelly stayed silent.

“Anyway, what about you? What’s going on between you and him?” Alpha Wade questioned.

Nelly quickly shook her head, afraid her grandfather would get the wrong idea. “I have nothing to do with him. I don’t know how he found me, but I can assure you we have no relationship whatsoever,” she explained.

“Really?” Alpha Wade was doubtful.

Nelly nodded.

Alpha Wade pondered for a moment before warning her once again, “Alpha Kilian isn’t a saint. Since you two are divorced, you should stay away from him.”

“I know,” Nelly answered, nodding.

“Zachary doesn’t know what happened to you, does he? Why didn’t he call or come to see you?” Alpha Wade was curious.

Clearly, he favored Zachary over Alpha Kilian.

“Grandpa, mind your own business. Zachary doesn’t know about this, so please leave him out of it,” Nelly responded.

Alpha Wade thought for a moment and agreed. “Fine. I wasn’t planning on calling him and telling him anyway.”

Only then did Nelly feel relieved.

Meanwhile, Tony was on his way to see Nelly when he encountered Alpha Kilian leaving the hospital in a hurry.

He was stunned as he pushed open the car door.

Thalia was surprised by Tony’s reaction and asked, “What’s wrong?”

It was only after Alpha Kilian had entered his car that Tony shook his head and replied, “Nothing.”

“Do you know that man?” Thalia was exceptionally observant.

“No, I don’t,” Tony answered.

“He’s the infamous CEO of Morris Corporation, Alpha Kilian Morris. He has connections in both the legal world and the underworld. No one seems to be able to bring him down, no matter how much they’re willing to pay,” explained Thalia.

Tony silently listened, not uttering a word. Then, he opened the car door and stepped out.

Thalia pondered for a moment before following suit.

“What are you doing?” Tony asked.

“To see your mommy with you!”

“How will I explain if you come with me?” Tony questioned.Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

“That’s your problem, not mine.”

Tony was left speechless.

“Even if you don’t introduce me, you should at least explain where you were last night, right?” Thalia prompted.

That’s another problem to deal with…

“Why not say you got lost and I happened to be the beautiful angel who helped you and even took you to the hospital?” Thalia suggested, giving him a charming smile.

“Are you sure that will work?” Tony doubted.

“Well, it’s better than not having an excuse, don’t you think?” she replied.

“I think you’re underestimating my mommy’s intelligence.” He couldn’t help but feel that way.

“Let’s go. You talk way too much for your age.” Without hesitation, Thalia walked ahead of him into the hospital.

Left with no choice, Tony went along with her plan.

Alpha Wade was chatting with Nelly when Tony opened the door and entered the room.
