Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

Nelly’s eyes narrowed into a feral stare as she growled, the sound low and dangerous. “What did you say?”

Alpha Kilian, the dominant Alpha , leaned back nonchalantly, his eyes gleaming with mischief. “What did you expect as an answer?” he countered lazily, his raised eyebrows hinting at a challenge.

Nelly mirrored his expression, her wolfish features contorting into an equally defiant smirk. “I don’t want any reply or answer from you, Alpha Kilian. I just want you to stay far away from me.”

With those words, the tension between them grew palpable as Nelly turned to leave, her wolf instincts guiding her steps.

But Alpha Kilian, fueled by his own dominance, couldn’t let her go so easily. He leaped to his feet, his powerful form sprinting after her. In mere moments, he caught up to her and skillfully blocked her path, his eyes burning with determination.

“Why do you want me to stay far away from you?” he challenged, his voice laced with curiosity. “What are you so worried about?”

The audacity of his words made Nelly’s wolf blood boil. This man truly believed he held power over her.

Nelly glanced at him, her gaze piercing through him. “I think there’s something wrong with you,” she retorted, her voice filled with a hint of concern.

Alpha Kilian, taken aback by her response, faltered for a moment. The importance of words escaped him as he resorted to actions to assert his dominance. Stepping forward, he forced her to retreat until she was firmly pressed against the edge of a desk.

But Nelly’s spirit burned bright, her eyes fiery and unyielding. “Get out of my way,” she demanded, her voice laced with defiance.

His lips twisted into a smirk, his alpha instincts flaring. “I’m not going to,” he declared firmly.

Nelly, her wolf nature fully awakened, couldn’t help but notice the change in Alpha Kilian. His arrogance masked a deeper vulnerability, one that ignited her own inner fire.

“What are you trying to do here, Alpha Kilian?” she asked, her voice laced with both defiance and concern.

“I want to see you go mad!” he exclaimed, his words betraying his own conflicted state of mind.

Nelly, though unsure how to respond to his irrational statement, remained steadfast. She would refuse to be swayed by his provocations.

“It looks like I’ll have to disappoint you,” she finally replied with a wry smile, unsettling him in ways she couldn’t fully comprehend.

Her smile, both captivating and unexpected, threw Alpha Kilian off balance. His wolf heart tugged, the intensity of his emotions threatening to overwhelm him.

Unable to resist the magnetic pull, he reached out to touch her face, his arm suspended mid-air. “Back then, were you testing me or did you really not know yourself that well?” he asked, confusion tainting his words.

Nelly, bewildered by his sudden change in demeanor, couldn’t find the words to respond. She simply stared at him, her eyes searching for understanding.

But just as his hand hovered closer to her face, he abruptly halted, his voice dripping with scorn. “It’s nothing. I just think that this face of yours is simply too… fake.”

Confusion, hurt, and anger swirled within Nelly. How dare he question her authenticity?

Yet, she refused to let his words affect her. Instead, she looked at him defiantly, her resolve unbroken. “You have plenty of ways to get your revenge on me, Alpha Kilian. You’ve chosen the most expensive option,” she threatened, her voice laced with determination.

Alpha Kilian pursed his lips, his own resolve unwavering. “Absolutely not,” he replied firmly.

Their standoff continued, neither backing down from the other. Yet, a flicker of a connection sparked between them, a silent understanding amidst the chaos.

With a helpless shake of her head, Nelly finally relented. “Fine. I’ll accept it,” she conceded. “But I’ll need to sign an agreement stating that the car is something you insisted on giving me. It’ll also indicate that you had no ulterior motive in gifting the car, and that you have no right to demand it from me in the future.”

His refusal was swift. “I’m not signing that,” he declared, his stubbornness unyielding.

“Then I won’t take the car,” Nelly stated firmly, preparing to leave.

But Alpha Kilian couldn’t let her go. He moved forward once more, blocking her path with his presence.

In that moment, something in Nelly snapped. She raised her hands, frustration etched on her face, and sighed heavily. Her bandaged hands reminded Alpha Kilian of the pain he had inadvertently caused.

Concern filled his eyes as he reached out to help her, his voice filled with sincerity. “What’s wrong? Are you alright?”

But Nelly’s anger clouded her judgment. She glared at him, her rage burning bright.

“Let me take you to the hospital!” he insisted, attempting to tug her towards him.

With a swift and almost violent motion, she yanked her arm free from his grasp. “I’m not going,” she said, her voice filled with defiance.

Alpha Kilian looked at her, his expression pained. “I didn’t mean to do it,” he whispered, an apology lingering in his voice.

“Oh no, of course you didn’t mean to. I’m sure I would have lost the use of my arm if you truly meant it,” she growled, her voice mingled with wheezing breaths.

He looked at her with a furrowed brow, his eyes piercing as he probed further, “It’s already been a few days, but why hasn’t it gotten better? Is the wound infected?”

She didn’t reply, but only continued to bear the pain with a pained expression.

Alpha Kilian couldn’t help but feel the urgency and rushed over to call for professional assistance, his voice tinged with a hint of authority, “Let’s have the infirmary come and take a look.”

A few minutes later, the infirmary prepared a fresh set of bandages for Nelly. The attending doctor spoke, his tone stern, “Your wound has just healed, so it’s best that you don’t make too drastic movements. Otherwise, there’s a chance the wound could rip open all over again.”

“Thank you,” she responded through gritted teeth.

“You’re welcome,” replied the doctor before turning to face Alpha Kilian, his tone respectful, “If there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave first, Mr. Morris.”

Alpha Kilian nodded curtly as he watched the doctor leave, his mind deep in thought. He approached Nelly cautiously, his voice laced with concern, “How are you feeling? Is there anything I can do?”

After a long pause, he finally began, his words filled with a mix of apprehension and pleading, “The car is actually a gift from my grandpa. If I don’t give it to you, I’m sure he’ll make a huge fuss over all this. You know as well as I do that I can’t do anything about him. At his advanced age, I don’t want to do anything that would make him mad.”

Nelly remained silent, her gaze fixed on him, her eyes filled with an unspoken determination.

He added, his voice tinged with desperation, “If you really find all this to be too much of a hassle, I can sign an agreement with you.”

“All right then. I’ll hold you to your word,” remarked Nelly, her voice suddenly empowered.

Alpha Kilian raised an eyebrow, his eyes narrowing as he asked, his tone skeptical, “Aren’t you being too obvious about it?”

“I’ve never denied that I had my ambitions,” replied Nelly frankly, her words dripping with a hint of defiance.

Alpha Kilian didn’t know how to respond to that. As he looked at her, he couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something more behind her motives, but he couldn’t quite grasp it.

Considering it was just a car, he didn’t dwell on the matter. They prepared the agreement and, with a firm handshake, sealed the deal.

Nelly gazed at the agreement and stated, her voice firm, “It’s not that I want to con you, Alpha Kilian. It’s just that you insisted on sending it over. I’m just preparing some safeguards for myself here.”

“What safeguards do you need? Are you afraid I’ll demand the car one day?” he countered, his words tinged with skepticism. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

“I only hope that’s all you want,” replied Nelly calmly, her voice unwavering. Deep down, she feared that he would use the car as leverage to take her three little ones away from her.

“What do you mean?” he asked, his confusion evident.

“It’s nothing,” she replied, her mood shifting, a sudden spark of energy in her eyes. “If there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave now.”

“Wait a moment,” he called out, his voice filled with uncertainty.

“What now?” demanded Nelly warily, her guard never wavering.

“Money,” he said, gesturing towards the luggage on the ground.

She eyed it for a moment before replying, her tone casual, “It’s merely an empty case. I’ll let you have it.”

Alpha Kilian was speechless, his confusion growing.

“It’s not like you want it anyway. Not to mention, it would take a long wait if we went to the bank to withdraw the money. That’s why I had to come up with this plan,” stated Nelly innocently, a sly grin playing on her lips.

“Aren’t you afraid that I would take it?” he asked, his voice tinged with curiosity.

“If that’s the case, I’m sure a bank transfer on the spot would work as well,” she replied, her tone mocking.

Again, he did not know what to say in response.

Even though he had very obviously been played, Alpha Kilian didn’t seem too angered by it. In fact, he found the entire situation intriguing. In that moment, he knew he must have been insane.

He nodded and said with a hint of amusement, “Sure. Sure thing.”

“Don’t be mad. It’s not as if I’m cheating you out of your payment. Feel free to come collect the car whenever you feel like this arrangement isn’t working out for you,” stated Nelly simply, her voice filled with underlying promises. After a brief pause, she added, “I can make you an offer at the previous price as well.”

Once again, Alpha Kilian was speechless. He couldn’t believe what she was taking him for.

“Continue speaking, Nelly, and I can’t promise what I’ll do next,” warned Alpha Kilian, his gaze steady.

“Goodbye,” stated Nelly as she opened the door, her voice filled with a mixture of defiance and resignation.

Just as she was about to leave, Fabian suddenly appeared and asked, his voice tinged with curiosity, “Leaving now, Ms. Jackson?”

She nodded, muttering, “Yes.”
