Chapter 95
Nicola was worried. She initially planned to take some time off to keep Willow company at Bordello, but Isabella was persistent. She showed up at Bordello early in the morning, yelling at her to go to work went off to work in the end.
Nicola didn't want Willow, who was already so upset, to be troubled by Isabella's actions, so she w Skyler turned up with a box as soon as Nicola left. Isabella had dragged Nicola away in haste, and she wasn't so considerate as to bother closing Willow's door for her.
Grief-stricken, Willow naturally couldn't be bothered about her ajar door, allowing Skyler to enter directly.
Bordello was a duplex apartment. Willow wasn't downstairs, she was in Aaron's room upstairs instead.
Skyler saw a disheveled Willow curled up in the corner once she opened the door. The wound on Willow's forehead had been treated, but she was still covered in blood. She hadn't changed her clothes, so she was quite a sight to look at.
The corners of Skyler's lips quirked up. Remembering her purpose for coming today, she feigned grievance and tightened her grip around the box she held. Her heels clacked as she strutted toward Willow.
"Willow, it's only been a day. How on earth did you turn out like this? Skyler sauntered toward her, her condescending gaze looming over her.
"Willow, I know you're upset about Aaron, but your health still matters. You'll be ruined for life if your health goes downhill! Zayn and I would be devastated then!"
Distressed, Willow couldn't be bothered about Skyler. She hissed, "Get out! You're not welcome here!"
"Aren't I?" Skyler was unfazed. Her voice mellowed as she continued, "Willow, if you don't welcome me, does that mean you don't welcome Aaron either?"Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
Willow instinctively understood Skyler's Innuendo. She was about to question Skyler when she handed the box to her. "Willow, I brought Aaron back to you!"
Willow snatched the box from her, only to find that the box was incredibly light. The box wasn't small, but it simply wasn't possible for it to be this light if Aaron was inside. It was a trick Skyler saw right through Willow's thoughts and grinned. "Willow, did you think I tricked you because Aaron won't fit in the box?
"I swear I'm telling the truth! Aaron is inside. However, it's not his body or his ashes inside. As she spoke, she opened the box. A few shreds of blood- stained fabric were inside.
Willow recognized them. They were from the clothes Aaron was wearing when he was thrown off the cliff. Her hand trembled as she reached for the shreds of fabric.
She yearned to feel his warmth again, but she didn't know what was wrong with her. No matter how hard she tried, it seemed impossible for her to pick up those weightless shreds of fabric.
Skyler continued, "Willow, do you know why I only brought you his m clothespinstead of his body or his ashes?
"The beasts below the cliff devoured Aaron alive, so there's nothing left of him. Zayn was worried that you couldn't bear the sight of his remains, so he told me to bring you these clothes."
"What did you say?" Willow croaked, her head jerking up. She stared at Skyler in utter disbelief.
