Chapter 15: It’s Gonna Be A Long Night
As Alejandro confidently approached Marisa, his tall and commanding presence stood out even more in the dimly lit club. His sharp features, accentuated by a hint of stubble on his strong jawline, were striking. His dark, intense eyes locked onto Marisa’s, sending a shiver down her spine.
He was undeniably handsome, with rugged charm that carried a sense of danger. Marisa found herself captivated by his looks, a mix of masculinity and allure.
His tall stature added to his imposing presence, making him seem even more dominant and mysterious. As he got closer, Marisa felt a mix of apprehension and a strange attraction she couldn’t explain.
Alejandro’s gaze remained fixed on her, and his enigmatic smirk hinted at secrets and adventures. Marisa’s heart raced as she couldn’t take her eyes off him, wondering what would happen now that they had crossed paths again in the chaotic Brandon club.
She couldn’t forget the moment he had ruthlessly dispatched the thugs who had threatened her, and it dawned on her that he might be the cause of the commotion. Her heart raced as he closed the distance between them, his dark smirk sending shivers down her spine. Even in her nervous state, she couldn’t help but acknowledge his striking handsomeness.
His handsome face, framed by those tousled curls that gave him an almost feminine allure, contrasted sharply with his dark, dangerous eyes. His pink lips possessed a magnetic quality that seemed to elevate him to godlike status. And indeed, to many, he was nothing less than a deity, as the mere utterance of his name sent shivers down everyone’s spine, invoking an overwhelming fear that hung in the air like an ominous cloud.
Alejandro’s smirk grew wider as he noticed her staring at him, but he wasn’t here for games; he had a business agenda in mind. Approaching her, he reached her front, and Marisa couldn’t help but gulp nervously.
“G… good evening, sir,” she greeted with a forced smile, attempting to walk past him. However, he firmly grasped her arm, pulling her back. Marisa shivered in fear, her gaze locked onto his dark, penetrating eyes.
She hadn’t realized that he was the client she had been waiting for.
“Where the hell do you think you’re going?” he asked, his deep voice sending chills down her spine.
“I don’t see… see… how that… is any of your business,” she stuttered, fear evident in her voice.
“Is she attempting to escape?” he pondered, his blank expression tinged with a hint of danger.
Without a word, he turned and signaled one of his men behind him. The man approached Marisa, and before she could blink, he carried her on his shoulder.
“What’s happening here?” she inquired, fear in her eyes as she was suddenly lifted off her feet.
“Let me go!!” she screamed, hitting the man’s back, but it was her who felt the pain as her blows landed.
“Take her to the car,” Alejandro ordered, and they carried her out of the club and into Alejandro’s Rolls Royce.
“Release me!” she yelled as the man placed her in the vehicle.
“Return to the empire and ensure the top members secure the shipment back safely,” Alejandro instructed Bruno before taking a seat beside Marisa in the car.
“Drive us to one of my exclusive hotels,” Alejandro instructed the driver.
“Yes, boss,” the driver nodded and sped away.
As the car accelerated, Marisa began to panic.
“Look, I appreciate you saving me twice today, but I don’t know who you are. Please, just let me go! I won’t say anything to anyone!” she pleaded, but Alejandro maintained his cold, unyielding demeanor.
Alejandro was about to reply when his phone abruptly rang. Retrieving it from his pocket, he answered the call without checking the caller’s identity.
“Yes?” His voice was deep and menacing.
“Boss, we’ve apprehended one of the mobsters attempting to smuggle drugs out of the empire. What should we do with her?” The caller spoke, and Alejandro’s anger surged immediately.
“Terminate her immediately!” He responded, ending the call promptly.
Marisa gasped in fear as she listened to his conversation. Were they going to kill her too? She wondered, her gaze fixed on Alejandro, who remained engrossed with his phone.
“Somebody help me!!” she screamed through the car window, provoking an angry growl from Alejandro.
He forcibly pulled her towards him, compelling her to meet his intimidating gaze.
“Stay silent unless you want me to deal with you,” he snapped angrily. Marisa trembled in fear and nodded in compliance.
Alejandro released her, returning his attention to his phone, while Marisa turned towards the window, where the night breeze brushed against her. She suddenly felt chilly, which was aggravated by the fact that she was wearing a strapless gown.
Alejandro noticed her discomfort and turned his gaze towards her. He removed his jacket and extended it to her.
“Here,” he stated, his tone daring her to refuse it.
“I don’t need it,” she replied, but Alejandro insisted.
“I wouldn’t want you passing out when I get down to business, so take it,” he said firmly.
“Thanks,” she reluctantly accepted the jacket, knowing she had no other option. She draped it around her shoulders and faced the window once more.
Her thoughts wandered to her son’s condition. The doctor had informed her before she left that her brother’s situation had worsened. She wiped away the tears that had started to form in her eyes as she thought about him.
Her reverie was interrupted when the car came to a halt. She looked around, trying to determine her location, but she had no idea.
The driver promptly exited the car to open the door for Alejandro, who gracefully emerged, radiating an aura of royal authority.
Meanwhile, Marisa remained seated inside the vehicle, observing her surroundings. It wasn’t long before the car door swung open, and two of Alejandro’s men approached her, lifting her from the car with a gentle yet firm touch, following Alejandro’s prior command.
Her gaze was drawn to the imposing building before her, a grand hotel named “ALEN GAMBINO.” This establishment was, unmistakably, under Alejandro’s ownership.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
“Let’s go in,” Alejandro instructed her, and they made their way into the hotel, trailed closely by Alejandro’s vigilant associates. The hotel’s staff members, their eyes wide with fear, watched in trepidation as Alejandro crossed the threshold.
As Alejandro and Marisa entered the opulent lobby of “ALEN GAMBINO,” the hushed whispers and furtive glances of the staff intensified. They recognized Alejandro, the enigmatic and formidable figure whose mere presence commanded respect and fear in equal measure.
Marisa couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease as they walked through the lavish interior of the hotel. The grandeur of the place was evident in its exquisite decor, chandeliers that sparkled like stars, and the plush carpet that silenced their footsteps. It was a stark contrast to the chaotic and dimly lit atmosphere of the Brandon club they had left behind.
Alejandro led her to the front desk, where a nervous-looking receptionist awaited their arrival. Without a word, Alejandro handed his credit card to the receptionist, who hastily processed their check-in.
As Alejandro received a room key card, he turned to Marisa and said, “Let’s go.”
Marisa slowly nodded, her anxiety building with each passing moment. She had no idea what awaited her in this grand hotel owned by a man whose reputation was shrouded in mystery and danger.
With the key card in hand, Alejandro gestured for Marisa to follow him, and they headed for the elevator. The ride up to the upper floors was silent, the tension in the confined space palpable.
As the elevator doors opened on the designated floor, Alejandro’s men, who had been waiting patiently, joined them. They escorted both their boss and Marisa to their suite.
The suite was nothing short of luxurious, with a spacious living area, a bedroom adorned with fine furnishings, and a beautiful view of the city through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Marisa couldn’t help but be overwhelmed by the sheer opulence surrounding her.
Alejandro’s voice shattered the oppressive silence that had enveloped the suite. “You’ll stay here until I return. I have some matters to attend to,” he declared, his tone firm.
Without wasting a moment, he turned around and exited the room, leaving Marisa in a state of stunned silence. Instinctively, she rushed towards the door, her desperation evident as she attempted to twist the doorknob, only to discover that Alejandro had locked it from the outside.
Panic welled up within her as she grappled with the gravity of her situation. “What the hell have I gotten myself into? My client must be waiting for me at Brandon’s club by now. I need to escape from this wretched place,” she fretted, her mind racing.
In a fit of frustration and fear, Marisa pounded her fists against the unyielding door. “Fucking let me out of here!” she screamed, her voice echoing through the room.
Almost as if in response to her fervent plea, the door swung open, revealing Alejandro’s commanding presence. He entered the room with an air of self-assured authority, then closed the door behind him, isolating them from the outside world.
Marisa, fueled by a potent mix of anger and fear, locked eyes with him. “Look, I don’t know you, so just let me go,” she demanded, her gaze searing with defiance. Alejandro remained unperturbed as withdrew his phone and displayed a photo of her from the hookup site.
“Is this not you?” he inquired, showing her the image. Marisa’s eyes widened in astonishment as she recognized herself.
“Yes, it’s me. But who are you?” she inquired, her curiosity mixed with apprehension.
A sinister smirk graced Alejandro’s lips as he inched closer, bridging the gap between them. “I am your daddy for the evening,” he murmured into her ear, gently nibbling on her earlobe, sending shivers down her spine.
Reality dawned on Marisa, and her heart raced as she comprehended that the dangerous man before her was the very client she had been anticipating at the club. He was her client, her destiny for the night.
Before she could even blink, Alejandro effortlessly scooped her up, sweeping her off her feet in the blink of an eye. In an instant, she found herself reclining on the plush bed, her body sinking into the soft mattress, with Alejandro looming over her, a wicked grin adorning his face.
“Tonight is gonna be a very long one, and I hope you’re prepared for it because I’m not gonna go easy on you,” he whispered, his voice dripping with a mixture of seduction and danger.
