Chapter 282 The Sniper Without A Bottom Line

Can I let go now?

Cindy’s voice was exceedingly soft and radiated shyness.

Finnegan was momentarily taken aback. Then, he realized he hugged Cindy’s current predicament in

his

haste.

Exclaiming over their suppleness inwardly, Finnegan cleared his throat and dropped his hands. “I didn’t

mean it!”

Of course, Cindy knew that Finnegan didn’t do it on purpose.

Nonetheless, the thought of her untouched breasts being touched by Finnegan made her heart race

faster than ever before.

Seeing her still shy and silent, Finnegan was surprised. “You’re almost thirty years old. What are you

shy about? Haven’t you ever had a boyfriend before?”

Indeed, Cindy had never had a boyfriend.

It wasn’t that she didn’t have suitors, but those who pursued her were attracted to her uniqueness.

At that moment, Finnegan saying she never had a boyfriend didn’t bother her much, but him

emphasizing her age was something she couldn’t tolerate. “Jerk, can you stop reminding me I’m almost

thirty years old?”

“But the fact is, you’re almost thirty years old.”

“What a b*stard!”

Furious, Cindy stomped on his foot hard before turning to leave.

Finnegan’s heart clenched. He quickly reached out and pulled her back, “Have you lost your mind?”

Almost simultaneously, a bullet struck the window directly opposite, shattering it in an instant.

With a shriek, Cindy threw herself into Finnegan’s arms, clutching at him tightly.

As women, regardless of age or maturity, most were still quite timid in the face of danger and would

instinctively seek the support of a man.

Finnegan said, “The sniper is still in hiding. Don’t go out yet.”

“Okay!”

This time, Cindy responded obediently, just like a little kitten.

Her body that was wrapped tightly around Finnegan was even trembling.

r

That made it unbearable for Finnegan, who was trying to concentrate. “Could you let go of me first? It’s

uncomfortable!”

She was completely plastered against him.

If she had an average figure, it would be fine. But the thing is, her figure was absolutely breathtaking.

Cindy’s cheeks turned even redder. She lowered her head and let go of Finnegan. However, she still

stayed close to him, making it clear that she was genuinely scared.

Muttering a curse under his breath, Finnegan turned around to figure out how to escape while avoiding

the sniper’s line of sight.

But as soon as he did so, he saw a housekeeper coming out of the mansion.

His expression changed dramatically. “Mariya, don’t come out!”

The housekeeper only came out after hearing the commotion.

Upon hearing that, she asked, “Mr. Larkin, what… Ahh!”

Before she could finish speaking, a bullet pierced her calf. She fell to the ground, crying out in pain.

The other housekeepers heard the commotion and were about to come out when Finnegan shouted,

“Everyone, stay in!”

His expression looked even more grimmer at that moment. “D*mn it! I’m going to kill him! I’m going to

end him!”

The sniper was actually targeting innocent people just to flush him out.

That had already crossed Finnegan’s bottom line.

“Ahh!”

The servant who was shot screamed in agony once again as another bullet hit her other leg.

She struggled to crawl back into the house, only to be shot in the left hand.

Cindy turned pale. “Finnegan, hurry up and save her!”

Finnegan’s eyes blazed scarlet, and his fists were clenched tightly. “Melons, don’t tell Bernie about this

incident here. Also, don’t call the police.”

With that said, Finnegan’s figure blurred and he sprinted out.

But he wasn’t aiming to save the housekeeper. Instead, he was swiftly running toward the garden

fence.

Almost as soon as he appeared, the sniper in the shadows locked onto him. A bullet hit closely behind

him.

Seizing the brief respite between the second bullet being fired, Finnegan leaped up and vaulted over

the fence. He disappeared into the small grove outside, his figure vanishing from sight.

On the rooftop of a building with over forty stories about five hundred meters away, a muscular man

clad

in a black trench coat and wearing a clown mask held a sniper rifle, his gaze indifferent. “No wonder

someone offered a billion for his life. He indeed has some skills.”

While saying that, the sniper, Cameron Fields, scanned the forest for signs of Finnegan with his sniper

rifle in hand.

He searched for a while but found nothing.

Following a hunch, he panned the scope of the rifle to the gates of Dragon Bay, only to see Doom Star

and Duncan rushing in his direction at a rapid pace.

His eyes flickering, and he crouched down.

With the agility of a magician, he swiftly disassembled the sniper rifle with both hands. In no time, each

component was neatly packed into a travel backpack.

He then stood up and glanced in the direction of Dragon Bay. “Once, someone withstood my

assassination attempts eight times before dying. I wonder how many times you can endure.”

With a cold smile, he turned and left.

When he went downstairs, he used the stairwell and avoided all surveillance cameras and any possible

encounters with people.

A few minutes later, he emerged from the back door of the building. Zipping up his trench coat, he

walked forward with his head lowered.

Moreover, he seemed very familiar with the surroundings, always skillfully avoiding surveillance

cameras and pedestrians. He mostly took quiet alleyways with hardly any foot traffic or the gaps

between buildings.

After walking several hundred meters, he stopped in front of a small alley near a garbage processing

plant.

He looked up and stared at the man who appeared right in front of him and radiated an aura of

violence.

It was none other than Finnegan.

Cameron frowned slightly, but he remained largely composed. “You actually managed to track me

down? How did you do it?”

He was certain that he had masked all his aura and left no traces behind.

Even the route he took consisted of many turns, so it was impossible to pin him down.

Finnegan, who tracked him down through spiritual energy, did not respond.

It rustled Cameron’s trench coat.

When the distance between them dwindled to less than three meters, a chilling glint flashed in

Cameron’s eyes. He raised his hands that gripped twin guns equipped with silencers.

A few muffled bangs rang out as six shots were fired in succession.

However, Finnegan moved faster.

He swiftly dodged the bullets while closing the distance between him and Cameron.

Nonetheless, Cameron remained utterly unfazed. With a flick of his wrist, a dozen metallic glints shot

out from his trench coat/which turned out to be a bunch of blades.

Duncan was injured by a blade previously, so Finnegan had been on guard against it.

With a flick of his fingers, minute silver needles undetectable to the naked eye shattered all the dozen

blades.

Cameron was surprised for a moment. He immediately abandoned his weapons and engaged in

closed- quarters combat with Finnegan.

His skills were indeed as formidable as Duncan had described.

But in the face of Finnegan, who was enraged and completely unrestrained, Cameron was no match

for him. Draмaոovеls.cом

Coupled with his lack of enthusiasm for the fight, he was almost constantly being pushed back by

Finnegan.

A flash of solemnity flashed in his eyes. He knew that even if he could severely injure Finnegan by

continuing, he wouldn’t fare well either.

As an assassin, it would also be unwise to engage with his target for an extended period of time.

He quickly devised a countermeasure. As he struck his right palm against Finnegan’s, he drew his gun

with his left hand once again.

With thirty centimeters between them, he pulled the trigger right away.

Finnegan had been keeping his guard up against Cameron, so he dodged sideways at almost the

moment the shot was fired.

That was also the opportunity Cameron wanted.

He seized advantage of the moment to retreat, planning to shake Finnegan off first.

However, Finnegan could never possibly let such a person with no bottom line and would drag innocent

people into the matter to get away.

With a roar, he surged forward in an instant. Like a bolt of lightning, he swept across more than ten

meters and positioned himself in front of Cameron.

Never having expectedly him to be so fast, Cameron quickly retreated.

But Finnegan was just too fast. No sooner had he retreated than the man was already before him with

his right hand over his heart.

The look in Cameron’s eyes changed dramatically.
