ELEVEN: IRENA
I R E N A
Irena stood in front of the pile of clothes she had put in the toilet. Her hands trembled as she grabbed them in front of her face. She didn’t know if it was frustration with the fact that she had just survived a plane crash. A plane crash was caused by Sage. It seems to be the source of his problems.
She looks out the door. Who does this man think he is? Frustrated, she grabbed the jeans he’d given her. An arrogant man who knows all the pain in his ass – he is.
She shakes her jeans, enjoying the moment he created. After taking off her skirt, she puts on her pants and prays that they don’t fit. Tucking them into her panties, she smiled. Thanks God. The distance between her belly and waist is ten centimeters.
After rolling up the shirt a few times, the pants are still standing. She was still wearing her satin sleeveless top but had taken off her sweater. She rolled her eyes. Lindsay and her insistence on asking her to bring sexy things on this trip. She must know better.
After Lindsay leaves the room to shower, she reappears and says she can’t let Irena go anywhere with a billionaire and the rags she’s wearing. Before Irena could stop her, Lindsay threw out all her sensitive clothes and replaced them with – as Lindsay said – eye-catching menswear. Of course, these include sexy tops and useless lingerie.
Maybe she should start speaking out against Lindsay and her ridiculous ideas. At the time, Irena wished she had a pair of Sage sweatpants and sweaters.
She is amazed at how soft Sage ‘s flannel shirt is when she wears it. And it smells good. She brought the rag to her nose and inhaled. The smell of a man mixed with the smell of the forest filled his senses. Her heart skipped a beat as she imagined Irena wearing the exact same shirt.
Then Irena imagines himself smiling at her, and the image is wrong. If only he hadn’t been such a rogue, she would have loved him by now.
Lower. What a joke. He is a billionaire. There is a sense of superiority that accompanies the territory. It’s like a request. They didn’t give you the last dollar, making you a billionaire unless you have some degree of arrogance around you. And for Irena.
Kennedy, modesty is not in his repertoire.
After she finished buttoning her shirt, she opened the door. Her face heated up when she saw Irena Kennedy ‘s tanned back. His muscles moved as he pulled his shirt down and stuck his hand into his sleeve.
He looked at her and smiled. Damn. He saw her looking at him. She pursed her lips and left. There’s no way to atone, so it’s better to act with confidence. Even inside the house, he felt nervous in her presence.
“See? These don’t fit,” she said, pulling up her shirt and waving at the belt she had rolled up.
He just nodded. Why did his half smile and twinkling eyes bother her so much? He seemed to bring out the worst in her.
“And your clothes smell weird.” Hmm. The thought was like a zinger in his head. Now that that was said, she felt silly.
He was still looking at her, his hand groping for the buttons of her shirt. He nodded, showing he understood.
“I will let my butler know. Can you describe the smell?”
She stuffed the discarded clothes into the suitcase.
“They smell like a man.” Puffing her lips, she felt her cheeks heat up as she looked at him.
“Well, I don’t know why they smell like that,” he said, taking a hat from his pocket and putting it on his head.
She narrowed her eyes. “Do you understand what I mean?”
That half-smile is back. “I’ll have the housekeeper wash the clothes to get rid of men’s odors.”
She sighed in frustration. “You do it.”
There’s no way she’s coming back from here. No need to try. She turned into a complete idiot. Twice. Man, she’s on a reel.
There’s something about Sage ‘s presence that shakes her. It must have been the shock of surviving a plane crash with him. That must be it. She took a deep breath. She needed to pull herself together. CURRENTLY.

“So, I’m going to go check where we are and the condition of the plane. I hope the external antenna in the rear beam isn’t damaged. He looked at it.” That’s the thing. connected to the emergency transmitter locator.”
Irena nodded as if she knew what he was talking about.
“What if it breaks?” Stop, we’re alone, well than we should be around the plane. At least for tonight. We don’t want to be stuck outside unprotected when the sun goes down. He glanced at the clock.
Irena bit her lip. Fear ran through his veins. It still took time for her mind and body to realize she was on a plane. An airplane crashed.
“Do you think you can cook?” he asked, pointing to the kitchenette.
She glanced at him. “I think so.”
“It won’t be much. Patty does a great job of cleaning my plane after every flight. For our sake, let’s hope she decides to give up one last time.”
As for his maid’s part, hope she decides to let go of Sage ‘s hand, Irena ‘s pursed her lips Is that all she got for him A person who does everything for him? She wanted to scold him, but bit her cheek instead. His life depends on his knowledge of the desert. It is best not to anger the billionaire until he is safely out of the mountains.
Irena walked over to the farthest closet and pulled out a coat. When she put it on, he smiled at her. It made her uncomfortable. And made her worry. She took a step back. Symptoms of concussion flashed through her mind. He said he was fine. But isn’t he?
