Remorse After Breaking Up

Chapter 456

Chapter 456

Sebastian and Artemis hurried out of the cave, only to find a group of people standing outside.

Leading them were a man and a woman.

The man seemed to be around 20. He was reasonably handsome and had an impressive demeanor, though his face was cold and his eyes were full of murderous intent.

The woman beside him was Clara.

"It's Theo, the eldest son of the Claude family. He likes my cousin and is surely here to cause trouble. Keep a low profile," Artemis whispered. This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.

"Are you that fool?" Theo looked at Sebastian, eyes brimming with killing intent.

"I'm not a fool," Sebastian explained.

"How dare you talk back!" Theo roared in anger.

Like Clara, he viewed Sebastian as a lowly housekeeper who should only look up to him in respect. Sebastian's defiance felt like an unforgivable offense.

"You fool! How dare you talk back to Mr. Theo! Kneel!" Abe stepped forward and shouted angrily.

Sebastian frowned, feeling perplexed. He never sought trouble, yet trouble seemed to follow him.

"Are you freaking deaf?" Feeling humiliated by Sebastian's disregard, Abe reached out to slap him. He moved quickly, hoping to leave no time for Sebastian to react.

Nonetheless, he overestimated himself.

A sharp slap rang out, just as everyone expected, but it was Abe who was struck

He was merely a warrior, not even a grandmaster. His so-called speed was as slow as a snail to Sebastian, who easily slapped him back.

Everyone was stunned. They always thought of Sebastian as a simple and honest person who never retaliated, no matter the provocation.

The stark contrast of him slapping Abe left them all in shock.

"How fucking dare you hit me!" Abe clutched his swollen face in disbelief.

Before he could finish speaking, Sebastian slapped him again, harder this time.

Abe nearly blacked out as he spat out two bloody teeth.

"You're asking for it!" Theo erupted in fury, and Clara was equally furious. The people they brought were also seething with anger, ready to attack en masse.

Sebastian, however, remained fearless. "I am now the future son-in-law of the Strauss family. How dare a collateral disciple insult me?

"Not only can I hit you, but I can kill you, and no one would dare to say anything."

Abe was livid, but a hint of fear flashed in his eyes.

It was because Sebastian was right.

These hidden families and sects still adhered to ancient concepts of hierarchy. Offending one's superior was a grave taboo.

Although Abe was a disciple himself, he was merely a collateral descendant, distantly related to the current family head.
