When Lily bumped her side against Ray, he kept his head low. Everything Lily told him now clearly explained Penny’s aggressiveness. He took a deep breath, trying to calm the rage in his heart.

Ray scanned the room once more, but none of them spoke. “Fine,” he rocked his head. “So be it.”
