“Is this what you are wearing?”

“Yes”

“To the amusement park?” Jessica moved closer to him cautiously.

“Yes,” he said raising his eyebrow. “Is there anything wrong with my outfit?”

“No you look dashing but have you ever been to an amusement park before?” she asked not believing that he would want to wear a full suit to an amusement park.

“No I have not but what does that have to do with anything?” Xavier asked crossing his hand over his chest.

“In an amusement park people usually let go and have fun and I think your choice of clothing would make it a bit difficult for you to do so” she explained slowly like it was a little child she was talking to.

“First things first let’s lose the jacket,” she said going around him and pulling the jacket from the neck down his back.

His hands went seamlessly through the arm hole and she was now holding the jacket in hand. “And the tie too,” she said closing her eyes and pinching the high bridge of her nose.

“Yes this is no business meeting,” she told him as she gestured he loose the tie. His hand went slowly to the tie and he undid it and held it in his right hand.

“Let go of some buttons and roll up the sleeves,” she said as in the form of a command.

“Now you are going too far,” he said dropping the tie to the table and crossing his hand again.

“Mr. Delgado” she tsked as she walked up to him and held his shoulders. “Can you come down a bit?” she told him as she struggled to keep her hand up on the shoulders.

He rolled his eyes and bent his knees so she was now at her level. “If we get to the park with you looking like this the security guards will not allow us in” she explained slowly.

“Do you have a habit of explaining things this slowly or do you just look down on me?” Xavier asked annoyed his knees going up and her hands falling to her side.

“You seem cute like a child so I thought that explaining things like a child to you would be better,” she said pouting.

“Hmm,” he moved back from her and went to his suitcase. “Would a T-shirt be nice?”

“You had a t-shirt and you decided to wear this instead?” she gasped.

“I feel comfortable in cooperate clothes” he replied pulling out a t-shirt and walking to the bathroom.

He emerged a while later his dress shirt in hand and a t-shirt. This was the first time that Jessica had seen him in something that was not an office wear.

“I have to capture the moment,” she said bringing out her phone and navigating to the camera app on her phone. She started taking multiple shots of him.

“Why don’t you strike a pose? If I post this on the internet I bet I would generate a lot of traffic on my page” she said as she kept tapping on the camera button.

“Let me take a few for you too,” he said stretching his hand towards her.

“Why? Do I look funny?” she asked dusting off the invisible dust on her.

“No, you look pretty, especially in that new dress.

Too stunned to speak Jessica put her phone into her pocket. “Should we be on our way?” she asked turning around multiple times to find her bag.

“Don’t you want any pictures?” he asked walking to her.

“I’m fine,” she said distracted.

“I thought you liked sharing pictures on your social media?” he asked.

“I only did it once and it was because Leslie pestered me to do so. I have accounts on each one but I don’t use them only to keep myself updated” she explained quickly.

She knew that such a topic if not discussed immediately could lead to misunderstandings in the future.

“You can post on your social media. I don’t mind”

“Don’t worry I do not like the social space so I might not share anything there except I am forced to do so” she said picking up a bag to compliment her dress and smoothing her dress out.

“I don’t mind and you can even post mine too”

Wasn’t he getting too cocky and friendly with her? She liked that he was getting friendly and she could finally have a one on one interaction with him but it was kind of frustrating because she could sense the subtle prideful statements that he made once in a while.

“I won’t be posting any so you don’t have to worry. Shall we?” she asked walking to the door and waiting for him to catch up.

Xavier drove with the assistance of the GPS and the questions he had asked Ethan’s secretary to the biggest amusement park in Aurora Haven. Xavier was ready to book the whole day for the place but Jessica had said she did not want it and he did not want her to be uncomfortable with the choices he decided to make.

Jessica fell asleep during the car ride and Xavier shook his head. He looked down at her hands in her lap. He was happy that the burn from yesterday did not show any sign of scarring and since she did not complain about the hands it meant she did not feel any pain.

“Did I bring you all the way here to sleep?” Xavier asked as he shook her lightly when he pulled into the parking lot of the park.

“What?” she said suddenly jumping to reality.

“Did you have a bad dream?” Xavier asked worry overtaking his face.

“No,” she said narrowing her eyes. “You startled me when you shook me’ she added yawning. “It was a short ride”

“No it wasn’t, You slept all the way here” he answered removing his seat belt and opening the door.

“He could have been courteous enough” she hissed and balled a fist at him as he got out.” Always so rude” she murmured.

Her door flew open and he was standing there.” Are you going to sit there all day or are we going to go in?” he asked stretching his hand to her. She was taken aback.

“Why? You don’t like it?” he asked bending his head to her level.” I have girls like things like this, they say it is romantic,” he said holding her hands and pulling her out.

She came face to face with him and she felt a hiccup come out of her mouth.
